Between you and Not a Cat, I really feel like I'm falling behind without these trackers. I've said it before, but it's not even really a money issue for me. I just don't want to spend all this money and then have to downgrade from the Rift controllers to the Vive wands, especially as a mute who relies on non-verbal communication. Kinect screwdriver will hopefully arrive today and I can hopefully play with it at the weekend. The CPU usage alone will make it un-viable in most scenarios, though.

Find a good starry texture, then set the shader to panosphere.

That's it. The panosphere shader comes with the VRChat SDK, so you don't have to go looking for it.

Do Frankenstein models in the english translation of pmxeditor. There's tons of tutorials ready for that program and you can do everything including weight painting and testing the kinematics on the spot in [T] mode. Once it's built, put it into blender, use CATS to fix model and do any nessecary decimation.

we have different kind of humour

I finished making expressions for a few of my avatars and quickly found out having 4 or 5 expressions on one model is hard as fuck to control. I have to make sure I'm doing neutral hand pose or she swaps expressions constantly. Its even harder without a mirror. Resorted to uploading two versions, one with expressions and one without for comfort.

What do you anons usually do? Do you j
ust have one or two expressions on an avatar or mix
mouth and eye movements to make it look less weird? Right now every gesture changes the whole face for me and its fun as fuck to be able to change expressions so often for different things but its a little exhausting to keep track of in practice.

There's no perfect solution, unfortunately. Everyone has their own systems and as much as I wanted to have a consistent set of expressions between characters, it's hard. It's also frustrating to have to limit the number of emotes to avoid emoting when not intending, or mixing emotes unintentionally. For instance, my nice loli used to have a small pupils, wide-eyes emote. But I've chosen to instead have a >_< emote with puffed cheeks and wobbly mouth, since it's cuter and has wider usecases.
