There's no script involved. It just takes a lot of time making sure that the Oculus settings play nice with the SteamVR settings. Pavlov is like Counter Strike, copying even its damage model which is terrible in VR; you have to hit an enemy several times to kill them while manually aiming the gun which not only has muzzle drift with fire but also has random deviation. It's ok for some casual fun, but feels too random to really get in to.

Onward is like insurgency and most shots are fatal which feels a lot better, but the 5v5 player count doesn't really feel sufficient so the rounds can devolve in to two players circling the map for 5 minutes looking for each other.

VR is the first time I've felt like I'm actually in the future. The transition to 3D graphics in games was amazing and looked photorealistic to my ignorant mind, but you can't really consider yourself in the future as a child. Well, here's the thing: typically in 3D character modeling you'll take 2D orthographic views of the character you'd like to create and then sculpt your 3D model based on that. If you have no reference pictures on which to base your sculpting, you're going to have a very difficult time.
