If you have, some non mesh model in blender, you would normally alt + c and get a mesh for it.
But I cannot tell if anything is even happening until I attempt to join a bone to it. Then blender it will me "no mesh data to join".

And these dang finger animations are not working. MY GOD.
The goal is to have a unique animation going on that is activatable(guitar fingering) but isolated to the fingers only while still being able to control the rest of the body unlike pure MMD vmd motion imports.

It's the ASRock AB350M Pro4, random freezing. I checked every driver, changed OS, swapped every component for ones I knew worked, eliminated the problem down to the mobo. I should have just checked amazon reviews and the asrock forums, it's notoriously bad and lots of that model have defects. If you're a Ryzen user just avoid that motherboard and you should be fine.

am I the only person who's disappointed more VR developers don't copy VRChat's feature of letting you upload your own avatar in their games? The only major difference with that one is that not all it's fingers are mapped. Could that be the problem, or does it not matter how it's rigged? I'm not using hand gestures at all, just facial expressions.
