Tupper, PLEASE tell me at least how to fix this FPS bug when it occurs. This time it started when I took my headset off for a bit, then put it back on again. Didn't go away. I tried focusing the little SteamVR window.

Opening the Steam Overlay actually FIXES the FPS. It's like it's got it the wrong way around.

Please someone help me. It's completely game breaking and I get it every hour at least.

Like with other games with voice chat, a streamer is generally going to avoid letting complete strangers talk because of the risk of harassment or the person saying something bannable. They're only going to feel comfortable on stream with people they know, though most of them are willing to interact with viewers and subscribers off stream.
