Unity units are in meters. You can make a cube object and set the scale to the height in meters you want your character to be, then set the Y location to half that. Scale the model until it's that height.

In Blender it doesn't really matter, since you can export at like 0.08 or 0.09 and that gets you in the ballpark once you're in Unity.

Is there a secret to weight painting? A lot of the times nothing happens when I paint, no matter where I click. Hell, sometimes I just click and drag all over the fucking place and the weight paint still doesn't apply to the face I want.
