I need help. there is this model I have downloaded. I generated visemes, and I separated the face from the rest of the stuff and all that. When I go into unity, I drag and drop the face thing into the viseme thing but none of the viseme things show up in the drop down menus. Why is this happening?

You don't have to seperate the face from the rest of the body, just keep it all in one mesh. Then re-create visemes with cats-blender plugin tool and check if you have the visemes before importing to unity.

Does anyone identify more with their online identity than their real one?

I don't mean to go too /r9k/ but VRChat has really made me contemplate this. IRL you can assert yourself as much as you want, but you can't stop people from judging you based on the aspects of your identity you can't change because they aren't up to you - sex, sexual preference, appearance, name, etc. But online, I can use whatever name I please and appear however I please, which becomes all the more obvious in VR. People are forced to judge me by the identity I choose for myself rather than the one handed to me, such that I can't help but prefer it.

SteamVR only detects a base station if a device in your playspace can see it. Try moving around the trackers and/or headset a bit and see if they show up.
