Fiddled around in tabletop simulator in VR again, they did finally add the ability to rotate objects with VR controls, and readability is better for text. May try to get some tabletop sim groups going for people interested, actually using VR not required, but for the sake of this general probably recommended!

Having a visual problem with my Oculus CV1. When ASW kicks in I get a super thin white line of pixels on the right side of both eyes. Pic related is a exaggerated version of what I see so you guys can see what I mean.

It's weird because to my knowledge the Oculus display is just a single screen (?), so maybe it means it's a software issue? It doesn't just look like a white line, it's hard to get a clear look at it but it looks like half way down there are like two boxes too. I've updated to the newest version of the Nvidia drivers (like that ever fixes anything), and I don't know how to update the Oculus software but I'm pretty sure it's the latest version. My Oculus is about six months old and has been totally fine up to now, this started happening maybe two weeks ago.

Would appreciate it if you guys had some suggestions.

All of these should be the same length, but you'll find the legs are too short and the arms are way too short.

Anyone who isn't deformed has those proportions. You'll never completely fix parts of the body being in slightly the wrong place because the full body IK doesn't have a bending spine.

Most of the problems can be fixed by offsetting the trackers/adjusting height etc.

For example, changing player height scales the world around the "player" including scaling up the avatar. So you can adjust height until you get a perfect arm length match, then go into openvr input and adjust your HMD y-axis offset until the rest of it matches (you'll have to offset the controllers by the same vertical amount, but won't make any problems)

I do, and I can't find any scratches. It's is a bitch to put on/take off with glasses though. Does anyone here actually use kinect on a regular basis? I just tried kinect v2 with kinect2vr drivers and this shit is a fucking joke I can't even sit down properly less even lay down and as soon as I turn around it just completely shits the bed even if I'm standing. Oh and if that wasn't enough it also reduces my play space by 1 whole metter since it needs that distance to track me properly

If you don't know how to fix the eyes hit me up. You could just weight paint them adding all the iris vertex to the eye bones with strength 1

lately I've been messing around way too much with my Kinect placement, so it's hard to say. I've been trying various placements below chest level pointing forward and downward with various degrees of success. Though it's more trying to mitigate my avatar from bending his knees so much without resorting to height changing than anything to do with sitting and stuff. As a Riftrackers, I would say Vive still has better FBT. Input Emulator seems to lack some level of error checking so if you lose tracking they take several seconds to return and can be misplaced, drift, and fly around. The only fix I've found is walking in circles until it figures out the true position.
