Not exactly sure what you want, but if you want the pink things to be animatable, you can add a separate 1-bone armature for the slime things, parented to your root hip bone, and just assign all the vertices in the slime a weight of 1 to that bone. Or, you could also separate the meshes and animate them as separate game objects.

Bones wouldn't be your problem; the thing is you'd have to set up shapekeys for the rotation and elevation, at which point you could have just as well given them a bone and translated/rotated them.

Just parent the bones to the hips should work IIRC; everything gets based on hip position anyways, so as long as they're weight painted separately they won't move relatively until you make them via animation.

yes. I assume you still want them to follow you around when you're in game, which means they need to follow some part of your body. If you're a paraplegic, at least your hip doesn't move when you rotate your head around due to the IK. For FBT it'll move with your hip tracker obviously.

If you want to pink things fixed in single spot regardless of how you move, your best bet is to spawn them as a world particle. Banana loli's VRpole works like that.

Anyone have issues where Unity will run as a process and won't open any projects, old or new? Tried some things so far like unistalling and restarting, turning off internet and opening a project, and rolling back driver since it was working before I updated. So far no dice. Get rid of the spawn worlds for VRChat, no one uses it, it's horribly outdated, and with the new feature in VRChat to make home worlds and spawn worlds, there's almost no point to its existence.

Put the OpenVR-Space Calibrator (for auto calibrating trackers with rift) in the Full-body Oculus with Vive trackers guide, no reason they should be separate.

Put all of programmer-kun's mods into one pastebin, including the dynamic bones mod.
