It's interesting to see what streamables have the most views considering I think I've only posted one of these twice. Every time I see the view count I think maybe I should make a youtube channel so more people can enjoy it too but I really hate the idea of sharing what we do with the wider world. That and I'm pretty sure my videos are mostly just my complete fuckups in pavlov or inside jokes. I came to this conclusion about 90% of you but I can't stop reading the thread.

Does anyone know why avatars get randomly destroyed in unity when you overwrite the fbx file? This is very annoying because each time I want to make any small change like changing some bones or some weight paints unity sometimes choses to do this making me have to start from scratch and reposition all the props and components my avatar had which takes some time

If the prefab is broken shit gets fucked. You can either save your changes onto the prefab you dragged it from or save it as a new prefab. That's what I've been told anyway, never done it myself.

Not that. It changes the power plan to 'high performance' every so often, even if it's already on that, and changes it to 'balanced' sometimes, even if you never use that. By the way, here's a pro-tip that took me a while to find, in case anyone playing Beat Saber has the same issue: if your sabers desync while you're playing it's usually because the battery got disconnected temporarily with one of your swings, to prevent this from happening just stick either a small cardboard piece in the compartment, or tinfoil in one of the contacts, or both the cardboard and tinfoil, so that the battery is fixed in place in a way that it won't ever lose connection no matter how hard you swing.

Now if I could only solve the "cable gets in the way so it whips forwards with one of your swings" issue, I'm thinking about sticking hooks on the ceiling, but I'm not sure if "sticks" will be enough to support the weight, I'd rather not drill because my ceiling is shit.

I'm pretty sure I came up with it independently when I was an edgy emo kid playing tonnes of rpgs but it was by no means myself that spread it. Well actually at the time of that post it was still downloading but now that i've had the chance to play it for an hour I think I have to say it is looking very promising!
The levels are procedurally generated I believe and the pool of things to populate the levels with gets bigger as you progress. I think it is tied to achievements, of which there are 100 or so, so at the moment i'm only fighting a few basic enemies but as soon as I get some things unlocked I shall certainly be making a video of this game.
The archery itself feels absolutely spot-on (Thank fuck, it's an archery game afterall) and while I admit the movement system did concern me before I actually played now that i've tried it I can say it works fine. You throw a little magical stone and wherever it lands you quickly move over to. It isn't quite an instant teleportation but it may as well be.

Graphics are nice though will likely end up repetitive as is the nature of all procedurally generated games but so far I am impressed with what I've seen and it has left me wanting to put the headset back on right now and get back in there. I do have to eat though so it'll have to wait.

Um.. there's not much to the tutorial. You might even be a bit ahead of me. Not played it much.
But you can throw a knife to dodge or jump to somewhere nearby quick, you can pick up ammo and drag it into slots on your bow/crossbow.
The crossbow has a much shorter arc than the bow and can't travel as far, but it's easier to fire and reload.
You can also teleport onto higher places with a well aimed shot. Skip entire sections if you want or get a better vantage point. And you can pull out a shield too.
