What are vrg's thoughts of this? Does this come as a nice way for people who participated in the event to remember the nice times we had? I made a really primitive airplane in vrchat. Lifelike flight dynamics ;_; . Definitely better than the existing jetpacks though. It simulates a lift force with some configurable joint and suspension space flipping trickery, so you have to get going to get lift, and you can roll the plane for steering. Throttle for the propeller force is on/off on OnPickupUseDown, but the stick works for roll/pitch, despite the visual representation jumping all over the place.

Will require a lot more tuning of the parameters to get it feeling proper. Right now the simulated lift force sends you up into the air way more than the wings would realistically. But you can stall it, as you see the unity sphere drop through the plane near the end of the video, representing the loss of lift. Obviously, this is pretty nauseating, but if you're not a motionlet you should be fine.
