yes, the agenda was to win. I know that you may not know shit about the ongoings of 4cc and how things are organised, however when other say that they signed up for the cup, it came off as a shitpost. Nobody really wanted to take it seriously, until it was discussed and made clear that they few that were interested in entering the VGL actually wanted to win, please give me a clear cut way we could have organised, aesthetics, strategies, hype manning, in the thread? that would have been ridiculous on several different reasons. One being the fact that discussion on strategy and our cluelessness would have not only cluttered the thread, but would be derailed and not as focused, two being everything being worked on would be put out there, if you dont think 4cc uses any kind of strategy and just shitposts AI there is no other, you are simply clueless and i dont blame you for not knowing. three its somewhat off topic, users would have grown tired of the thread being bombed with VGL discussion, along with the usual shitposting, segregating it from the thread was and is the only clean option for this sort of project. I cant think of one general that organizes 4cc within their own thread. It just doesnt work that way, when several people have jobs along with teams within the general that share the same jobs. Enlighten me, please.
also i agree that soccer did give us a bit of forbidden fruit, which may have lead to the general interest in an official server. that is a shot in the foot that is not going to heal.
