Interesting, though the problem here is that those people should find relief among people who know what they're doing instead of going into and opening up to a random community that may or may not accept them, or worse, be composed of groups on both sides who don't know what they're really doing, inevitably fucking things up by generating conflict and drama. We are never going to have an entire publicly open and anonymous community like ours who knows exactly who everyone else is and accepts 100% of who they are. People with the potential to generate more drama should be seeing therapists instead, but they often don't know better, so ultimately a community should do good to either avoid these kinds of people, or make sure everyone is on board for understanding exactly where everyone else stands in relation with each other and what they want and don't want out of their interpersonal interactions.

Anyone play Duck Season and Hover Junkers, the other two games by the guys doing Boneworks? I just played a bit of Duck Season and I got kinda bored. A real problem with vr games at the moment is that they are pick up and play games with no persistence between runs. But this game just didn't feel, in the initial hour, like there'd be anything interesting or entertaining to see later on. Games like VVR and Invisible Hours, they were kind of boring to me too, but still a lot better than this in terms of being able to lead the player on to want to see what comes next.

You might have to go to Unity and then in rig configuration.
Select the hip bone in the hierarchy and raise it up along the plane until you're satisfied.

The low poly model inside is the shadowcasting mesh, you can just delete it for vrchat purposes. For the missing textures, you can use ninjaripper to extract them all, but there's no existing guide on how to actually interpret them, afaik. You can tell some are AO, normals, some sort of shadow strength mask, but others have no obvious analogue. If there's a way to decompile the shader that koikatsu uses, that'd probably be helpful.

Getting rid of same face with Vroids is just a matter of the amount of effort you put into the textures but they do have the vroid-ear syndrome because the ears are a weird low poly shape and very distinguishable. I'm thinking of modifying my vroids ears in blender because it's not an issue to drastically modify the topology unlike parts of a face that may have shapekeys.

Depends on your use of the word "stream". The vrchat video player will play h264/aac .mp4 files over plain http just fine, from nginx, python -mhttp.server, whatever, and use byte range requests to seek within the file. If you actual live streaming or transcoding, you have to use HLS, which is a more complicated thing on top of http and mp4. there's an nginx plugin to host HLS streams if you want to do that, or use an unlisted youtube stream as a proxy.
