Okay, so what am I doing wrong in H3 with rifles?
I can't seem to get a rifle properly aligned. Grabbing with both controllers, trying to aim, but it spazzes out without a discernable logic. One moment the pivot point is on the front controller, the other moment it's the other.
Is that because I use an Odyssey+? The controllers are BT.
Would it help if I turned on my computer's BT?

If you get too close to your face with WMR, you'll lose tracking since the cameras can't see the controllers. That could be why. I stopped having issues in Pavlov once I got used to it, but I'm not sure how it is in H3VR.
Also, the Odyssey+ has built in bluetooth, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

Normally that problem is caused by your BT dongle being too close to a source of RF inference (a USB 3.0 cable, like the ones hanging out of the back of the case next to it). You fix it by putting the dongle on the end of an extension cable and moving it away from the pc.

How updated is the OP games list? Played pretty much all the single player games, and the only ones that really impressed me were Superhot and Beat Saber. In Death was interesting because it’s a bow without wave defense, Arizona Sunshine because zombies. Th rest were pretty much just arcade games, either decent like Sairento, or shit like Robo Recall. Still need to do some multiplayer, but I was planning on waiting for Valve so I can give my current Odyssey to a buddy for some coop.

Yes, the maps are designed with just enough space for 4 - it's a movement based arena shooter.
The game is more built around building loadouts for the shoulder items and various characters. When I was playing I was doing a stealthy hunter with the sonar and dummy launcher for doubletap and trap kills with the sniper or slingshot.
It was pretty oppressive, I won a ton.
The game feels a bit like descent deathmatch. I think part of the reason it runs so well is the 2v2, it's very sporty and is entertaining as hell to watch.

I think they'll get plenty of names and titles to show off. VR announcements are scattered across several shows as it is. For VR to get more penetration, there ought to be a dedicated segment so people can see what's available and what's coming without having to jump around all weekend. Regardless of the response they get, a dedicated VR block at E3 is a nice thing to have.

I don't really care too much about sick reloads, I just like getting my sights lined up perfectly and as stabilized as possible. It's super easy in VR because of the single focal plane, but I really wish we had some autistic peripherals like a decently weighted pistol with decent recoil, or a simple plastic tracked rifle with a digital slide and mag release instead of the awkward current system of 2 jack of all trades, master of none controllers.

I can't imagine multiplayer ever really working. The physics stuff is all very obviously single player focused, unless you've got a discord of buddies and you're all willing to play pistols only deathmatch or something with trackpad locomotion only, I can't see it being that fun.

What I'd like is a custom map creator with workshop support, and maybe a highscore leaderboard but some sperg would figure out how to break it and take infinite grenade launchers into every accuracy map. Turn the game into a VR aim trainer, it'd be nice to have moving targets that aren't sausages and a detailed score breakdown.

I spent the last couple evenings converting (a copied project of) my world to meet Quest standards. After all the optimisation efforts (materials reduced to 22, textures limited and heavily compressed, skinned meshes removed, tri count reduced to something like 13k, reflection probes removed, no transparency outside of a couple particle systems, entire section of my world removed), I somehow ended up with almost twice the number of draw calls as when I initially deleted all the materials in the world. Even after deleting prefabs with a few submeshes, I ended up with 46 drawcalls - the 'limit' is 50. So, my gutted world at it's most optimised was only just within the limits. The world was boring because everything was removed, and no Quest memery was really added.

Drawcalls and batching are a dark art. Optimizing for Quest is a mystery to me. Heck that.

Most of the model doesn't even use textures, it's all done with shaders which I think are Illusion originals. The mesh is about 100k polys and the armature is full of scaling bones. You can pay to export a model to VRM, so that may be the solution to get all the necessary components to fix other models.

The UI is a huge turnoff, it is very clunky.
Didn't find combat enjoyable either. I tried a few classes and mostly played ranger.
The mobs move fast and stick right in your face even if you use the trap to slow them down.
You can't move fast or use dodge abilities to avoid them so you end up spamming the bow's abilities point blank.
What is even more frustrating is that they sometimes start dodging and spinning around you while stuck in your face.
Touchpad locomotion takes a good while to get used to, it is really clunky when you are trying use your bow and move at the same time.

Check SteamVR CPU usage. Mine was insane and using up to 100% without a game even open. Everything was running poorly but SteamVR was by far the worst. As I said, it should be about 5% for VRcompositor and 5% for VRserver. Spent weeks trying to fix it and had to just reinstall windows in the end.

Red and green is what comes out when you rip the textures. You can use multiple texture slots like layers, but I don't know the specifics of this in blender. I managed to construct some koikatsu textures with an image editor, inverting the colour, converting to greyscale, then using as a multiply layer over the albedo colours, but I never did anything with it.

Demerits will be divided into 3 classes.
Minor, moderate, and severe.

Minor- mic spam, image spam(Image spam is 5+ images in succession with no gaps) (excluding gore)
Moderate- lag spam(this includes change), bypassing rules, ping abuse,etc
Severe- gore posting, loli posting, doxxing, being found to be the one vague posting the thread, etc.

A minor will get you an ice for a few minutes to a few hours. Moderate will get you iced for a few days, severe will get you banned after enough violations. if you are found to be a repeat offender the punishment will go up. So if you have committed 3 minor violations in the course of 3 weeks your violations graduate to moderate. You are allowed 3 sever violations before being permabanned your first violation is 1 week of ice, 2nd violation is 2 weeks and 3rd is a ban.

Minor and stacks drop after a week, moderate drops after 2, and sever violations don't drop. After 3 sever violations you are out!

because the thread became so shit this is the result of the same community inhabiting the discord more so that was a decision made by the mods not just him on a whim

Only downsides I can see to the discord are:

The general consensus is that the thread is shit and filled with thread goblins too afraid to shitpost with their names attached in the discord. Terrible or not, it is how it is right now. If you want the thread to replace the discord and get rid of the discord you must first obsolete the discord by making the thread a better place to discuss things. Thread goblins must be genocided and prevented from reappearing, assets must be properly cataloged and available for all, people must be welcoming and inclusive. Even if you did all this and in such a way that everyone was happy and fulfilled by it, the inner circle and clique discords won't disappear.
I don't have a solution to this problem other than goblin genocide and hope.
