it's as good as your pc can handle it, so if you get 90fps in desktop mode you get 90fps in the headset, it's just streaming your desktop to the headset in stereo, and passing rotation and controller info to steamvr, pretty simple. Might be less load than an actual headset would be.
>>254132445
Incorrect- the snapdragon 835 has native video decoding acceleration for vp9, hevc, h.265, etc, and it's EVEN BETTER in the quest so that the quest can handle 3d360 video in 5k or more.
It is less load on the hardware then actually rendering 3D by a long shot, the SOC makes playing video essentially "free" on the headset and uses zero cpu cycles, so the headset is freed up to do everything else as fast as possible.
This has massive potential if it's refined.
>>25413220
they can't block it without completely breaking developer support sideloading, If this encourages people to buy the quest there's no reason why they wouldn't let it live.

it's crazy good for an alpha, I'm really surprised. If they speed up input latency and people stop using their stupid shit 80$ router this may make carmack stand up and pay attention. He was already hinting at this, but it chops the knees out from under the Rift S sales. (it's already really good and it might do that anyway)
>>254133126
yeah, I agree. I bet fb doesn't care since I bet they had lenovo make the rift S to appease enthusiasts and keep them from freaking out that they were cancelling the cv1 and half dome, it's why arbrash left. If fb didn't pretend to keep supporting pc vr users the bad press they would get on top of the already bad press facebook gets on privacy would kill the company completely.

I bet they buy them out because it looks like the Vive Cosmos is designed to do what the Quest doesn't, out of the box, and for less money, which is both pc and mobile vr.

Very likely bait, yes.
I'll bite though.
It's insane how much people who have never used vr overestimate the cable "issue."
It's like you've never used headphones or played a guitar before. The cable is always behind you, it's extremely easy to keep out of the way, and 99% of the time there's tons of slack. Most VR games with few exceptions are careful not to spin you in circles a lot or provide a way to snap turn. The system orients you away from your pc when you calibrate.

Fun fact: Only displayport 1.4 can handle more than 4k with 90hz latency longer than 1.5 meters and even then it's a stretch. The wireless tech that makes TPCast and and the Vive wireless adapter are 60Ghz and you need to put it right next to your brain. Enjoy your baked noodle. Wireless uses batteries and don't last 3 hours. They degrade the image quality and that is required because it's the 90FPS latency that you need to maintain.
For watching TV, you can go longer over things like cat6 and that's no big deal:
Why? because as high as 60ms video latency doesn't matter when you're not interacting with it, just watching it.
You could never go below 16ms latency for a video game, and you can't really go below 11ms latency for vr or you make people sick. 8k video is all done through latent compression upscaling unless you have multiple cables. We will need video cords for VR for a very long time until video streaming is good enough with latency to render things on the pc and play it that way instead of using "direct mode" like a monitor does. This gets even worse when you get up to 144hz
PSST: little secret from someone in the DOOH industry-
You would need TWO displayport 1.2a cables at minimum to pull off 2160x1440p (QHD) per eye at 15 feet at 80hz, let alone 90hz, one for each screen, or at least a clever version of displayport MST, and you would need to address each screen as a seperate device which would require re-writing openVR. Audio separately would be required.

I like the IDEA of wireless, but I also want my vr to be 200deg fov and clear as fuck.
It's not possible to do 144hz at 4k without a wire, the technology does not exist unless you are doing the video rendering INSIDE the headset.
You can do wireless -input- no problem below 11ms latency, which is why controllers are wireless, that's not an issue at all, but there's too much data in a video stream at that framerate to be done over anything except wigig 60ghz and even with that brand new radio tech it's line of sight and a bit of a stretch.
Backpack computers solve for that issue though, and if vr was more popular that's what we would have.
MSI makes a good worn computer chassis.
That's what they do at vr arcades to ditch the wire.
If you guys really want high quality wireless vr build a pc backpack out of an MITX system and stick a battery in it because that's all you're getting until they invent less latent wireless transmission tech for video at 32-128Gbps+
Oh, tangentially related protip: Using HDMI audio can introduce video rendering latency by making your video card work harder, and using USB audio from the headset can introduce tracking latency by reducing the available packet streams on USB.
You can improve vr performance and get more supersampling by fully disabling the hdmi audio hardware and fully disabling usb audio hardware and using a seperate USB wireless headset on a different hub with your wired hmd.
Also disable bluetooth communication if it shares a usb port with the rest of the system.
This does not apply to most WMR headsets with a seperate bluetooth dongle, but it does apply to the hp reverb and the samsung headsets.

t. luddite zoomer who doesn't understand that you cannot stream high bitrate video without extreme latency over wireless.

Literal physics gets in the way, even with silicon infused isolated cables on 802.3-2018 standards, or SFM OS2-20 0.4 dB/km @1300/1550nm is STILL too slow for direct stream without packeting, which introduces a minimum 23ms latency which is no go for vr.
Category 6A or higher CABLE is good for lengths up to 100 meters for 10gbe, which is 1/3rd of what you would need for 4k90hz
let me put it this way, you need TWO cat 6a cables to do HDMI 1080p 60hz longer than 20 meters without sticking a latency inducing digital signal converter in between.
There's a reason the vive wireless adapter is PCI Express 3.0 and basically requires intel to work, it bundles using QSV and it's a limited use case stopgap.
Wireless REALLY sucks for vr. VirtualLink helps only a little for the framerates we're trying to push.
We need to pack pixel density on smaller screens, not increase resolution, it's the only way forward to wireless.
Thankfully eyes are analog and can't tell the difference between 4k and 1080p at a certain distance, and valve seems to have figured this out thank fuck.
Get a backpack pc if you really want both, it can ironically be less trouble than wireless.

DIY Backpack PC Shopping list:
gpu: Powercolor AXRX VEGA 56 NANO 8GBHBM2
mobo: ASUS ROG X470-I mini-itx
cpu: AMD YD2400C5FBBOX Ryzen 5 2400G (so you can drop the gpu and get more battery if not needed)
ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000mhz
hdd: Crucial MX500 nvme

A piece of plexiglas with vinyl wrap, drill holes for mainboard micro-itx brass mount screws.
A backpack, preferably one with two compartments, one on the bottom, one on the top and a stiff back, or make a stiff back for it.

>magic sauce:
psu: M4-ATX-HV 20W Intelligent Wide Input 6-34V Vehicle/Battery DC-DC Power Supply from mini-itx.com or elsewhere.
This is a 220v battery DC-DC power supply with standard atx pins, usb programmable, which shuts down your pc properly when power is lost and has a system tray tool. Just connect it to your 12V or 24V car/boat/solar battery and power up your PC. You might need two and one of those psu bonding devices that bitcoin miners use to get 440w, but 220w should be enough for this setup.

And, finally: a few 12-34V Sealed Lead Acid Batteries or lipos the lighter the better, the kind you find in 500va UPS battery backups for your pc. Keep them charged so you can rotate a couple out. You'll get a couple hours out of them. You can also run this off your car or RV batteries if you like camping.

Cut some holes in the backpack to direct air to the fans for your cpu and gpu, mount it up on the plexiglass, mount it to the backpack, and tada, you now have a wireless Valve Index, or literally any other headset you want.

Fun sidenote, since inside out tracking needs no base stations, you could use a samsung od+ or hp reverb in a football stadium sized playspace like this.

yeah, it's a pretty great solution. I've been milling about doing one for a while, components are getting pretty cheap.

If you're going for the full GPU option, you'll need to add a 16x pci-e 3.0 extender ribbon to that shopping list so you can mount the gpu to the plexiglass/wood/whatever you put the mainboard on so it's no higher than the CPU fan.
You'll also very likely want to choose a gpu with a single 6 pin that you can adapt off one or two sata molex because dc-dc psus for embedded pcs like this are a PITA, converting to AC for a SFF PSU is not worth it, you lose a lot of battery power.

You could also ghetto rig it and just literally stick a UPS in your backpack though, disable the warning chime and use an SFF psu, alternately, but you would get less time out of the setup and it would be pretty fucking heavy. Using LiPO is smart for this, like an In-line 192w laptop charging adapter with a battery. They make psus for that too, this dual mode DC-DC AC-DC psu is a richer option: https://www.hdplex.com/hdplex-fanless-400w-atx-linear-power-supply-with-modular-atx-output.html

On the plus side it would come with a built in charging cable.

or, http://www.mini-box.com/OpenUPS2 Lipo is way lighter.

one last bit of advice on this:
it needs 24pin atx power and 8 pin psu power to run this mainboard, and even if you're only using the vega 11 graphics of the radeon 2400g, you'll need to be creative with the UPS power solution, and static discharge.
Your backpack will need some kind of anti-static solution to protect it of course, using a metal matx backplate from an old pc case is a good idea, or shove the whole thing into an SFF chassis and stick that in the backpack.
Also lipos can explode but they're pretty reliable if done right. Not sure how long you would get out of it but it would be around the same as a laptop or better with 4x the performance and it's upgradable, plus you can use it as your regular desktop pc when you're not looking to have complete wireless freedom.
Oh, and if you're just looking for EXTREME length room scale and don't mind adding a cable, AC power cables can go pretty much as far as you want it to go. Hundreds of feet.
With an SFF psu you can just hook your backpack up to a fucking huge extension cord, and play vr in a giant field.

It also doubles as a really nice SFF pc for when you're home that takes up less space then a pack of printer paper.
If you're willing to spend a few bucks you can make it look really nice using a pelican carry-on travel backpack, and it doubles as a laptop if you add a usb-c screen, and it'll STILL cost less than a top of the line laptop and be way faster.
If you travel a lot it's a great solution.

You'll definitely be able to check what's what, i've played VR racing sims on gtx770 for years (mostly assetto). Good thing is (iirc) 9xx already supports dx12/async thingy, and therefore ASW. Even with cinematic 45fps experience you'll still have smooth vidya time.

there's actually a huge market for these in corporate, arcades, amusement parks, etc. That's why they cost so much.

Yeah, and when you're home you just run it like a normal PC.
I'm actually surprised more people didn't know about mini-itx and dc-dc psus, having a tiny pc as fast as a full size autismo desktop is pretty awesome and being able to hook it up to a battery pack is doubly awesome.
we're lucky video cards and cpus use less wattage now.

actually, it even looks like they're still making them.
They're a bit overpriced, better to build your own, I wish someone made a backpack mini-itx chassis with the psu and universal lipo 18660 harness or something.
Way better than a laptop honestly, if you're in the market for a portible system anyway.
Usb-c screen and a nice keyboard+touchpad for regular desktop stuff.

a soccer pitch at dusk, my backyard, empty company parking lot, yeah. fully untethered no compromise vr.
Sounds like it would be pretty nice with something like the HP reverb so no base stations are needed and you get 4k quality.
You could even mount a single lighthouse 2.0 to the corner of the backpack and use knuckles since the playspace follows the headset and moves the controllers to match you instead of the other way around.
An AntVR cyclop like they use in chinese arcades would also be good for this since it tracks floor makers.

Lazy question but you're obviously well informed - how's the price hike on this one? I imagine it's 2x the price of a "comparable" laptop, and 4x of a desktop.
I'd like to buy a pre-built one since it's less of an eyesore and probably more sturdy than my DIY handiwork, but I'm not really happy to overspend for the novelty of it.

consider a SilverStone ML08B for the case.
14.96" (W) x 3.43" (H) x 14.57" (D)
Takes SFX psu for when you're not on a battery, has a little carrying handle at the top, and takes a full size 13 inch monster video card like a 1080ti, you wouldn't have to get a nano gpu.
would easy mount to a backpack.
They're a little bigger though.
A pico psu like the one pictured below is 300w. You hook it up to an AC power brick (or two) or lipo quadcopter drone batteries, depending on what you're doing at the time.

pretty high markup considering it uses so-dimms for ram and it's intel, plus you're stuck with their proprietary battery system and you can never upgrade the mainboard+cpu.
If you can manage a pretty looking m-ITX case that works in a backpack, you can literally swap every component as you need to drive more demanding headsets.
Ryzen is way faster and more affordable than intel since zomebieload, and navi gpus are a few days away, and since they're 7nm, they have very low power requirements.
They'll outperform the 2080 for 400$.
true vr freedom might look like pic related for now, but when has /vrg/ not been all about janky tech for the bleeding edge experience? I mean fuck, more than half of the regulars have vive trackers so we can be more immersive anime girls in vrchat and I bet every one of us has modded their headset in some way.

Interesting find about the Rift S. People have said it can't track in a dark room but it's not an issue with hybrid setup.
It tracks by IR cameras and the base stations for FBT flood the room with IR light.
If you enable passthrough you will see you room lit up bright as day even if it's pitch black.

Guys, is it too early to get my hopes up that the Quest might finally make it into mainstream territory like the first Gameboy or maybe iPhone? I go to places like Reddit and I see tons of posts of people waxing on about how many people they showed it to who then bought it on the spot or really made them think. I see so much exposure with Google search statistics and Oculus ads gaining millions of views. I see images posted of IRL ads posted everywhere. And this is just 2 days into launch. I was expecting maybe 1-2 million sales in the first year, but this really feels like it's the start of a many million units/year product. It feels like it could go viral.

I had tempered expectations at first, but I refreshed my local 1/4 million town's bestbuy stock on their website for the last 48 hours and they've sold out FOUR TIMES of the rift S, and both versions of the quest.
Their stock was something like 200 units each time.
It's hitting nintendo switch levels of insanity and it's only been 2 days.

definitely no

do you remember the hype that was running around the first iphone? everyone knew about it, right before release every single random faglord you've met in your life was talking about the apple phone, i was living in eastern europe and even there it was the topic of the month. oculus is not even trying to advertise quest on a similar scale. i'm sure it's going to be a step forward in getting average joe into it, but i don't think anyone involved into selling quest is even considering a possibility that it could become a mainstream device

actually, the original iphone only sold like 200k in the first year.
it took a couple years of smartphones being known for them to hit "must have" levels.
VR has been out for a little while now and as amazing as people who try it say it is, and everyone who tries it wants it, it was "too expensive" or "my pc can't handle it" or "i hate wires".
this solves for all three and comes in at a very cheap price point and facebook has more advertising power than everyone else in existence except maybe google.
it will sell like the wii, grandmas will get it for watching movies, schools and universities will get it for teaching, it'll be in arcades, etc etc.
this thing is going to explode.
Also it's going to be rooted in a few days I'm sure and custom software will push it even further.
Then, a year down the road, the upgraded version with better hardware will come out, and we'll continue down this path.
PC vr will continue to evolve, and we'll finally get the future we were promised in the 90's.
Wew. It feels like a relief. I was worried, for a while, that my hobby and passion would fall on deaf ears.
god bless you carmack.

i don't know the sales, but i remember the hype. maybe it didn't sold well, but mainstream became very conscious of its existence, all of my friends got various "full touch" phones later specifically because they looked like an iphone. meanwhile, not many random people nowadays would know about quest, i'm working in software development and even at my work no one talks about it. iphone was generating lots of noise, strong opinions, love, hate, overall it did a great job getting into mainstream's consciousness. i'm sure quest is appealing and whatnot, but the way i see it now, marketing isn't quite up to the task.

also, some barely-interested people might see quest as a smartphone vr, which harms the image a lot.

It's a gaming system marketed at gamers to start - just wait until facebook starts targeting media consumers with things like Netflix VR.
Why do you think grandmas bought the wii?
so they could play wii bowling and watch netflix, and it was around the same price.
Same thing is gonna happen with this.
It's a portable device that allows them to have dirt simple easy to use media consumption.
I'm sure the second wave of advertising is going to target the boomer demographic.
I've already seen viral videos of people slapping quests on their boomer parent's heads and them having the same "wow" moments as the shitty cardboard vr bullshit videos, except instead of being terrified of god awful roller coasters they're genuinely having fun.
There's also a bunch of viral videos on snap and insta of cute kids trying vr for the first time.
This is a watershed moment.

One thing to note though is that Apple was already really popular before iPhone. If they came out with a VR headset right now, even if they did 0 marketing, it would probably still do extremely well even if it was a PoS, just because it has the Apple name attached. Oculus on the other hand literally only existed some years ago and Facebook hasn't been known as a hardware manufacturer until even more recently. And most people probably still don't know Facebook owns a brand called Oculus and does hardware.

i hope you didn't believe that charging $1000 dollars for headsets was going to keep the industry alive. Oculus could've easily done what valve and htc have, they have an incredibly large budget , innumerable larger
R&D than probably both valve and htc combined. But they know what they're doing, that's why the quest and rift will obviously outsell probably any other headset including the index

My problem with the quest is that it's not just more of the same, it's pay again for the same but with less graphics. Quest games are cut down versions of games already released and their hardware has no extra shit that can be exploited for more content. VR has a problem with lack of content. I have higher hopes for a headset that introduces new features like finger tracking than one that opens it to the mobile gaming market. That isn't even new ground with mobile vr existing through gear and cardboard.

>the industry doesn't need oculus
you are so incredibly wrong it's funny. you have no idea how much oculus's appeal and consistant price cuts bring new people in.
>people pay $1000 for a smartphone
because smartphones have been a part of their life and their culture for years, from companies they've bought from before, very few people will drop $1000 on a relatively new, untested industry . it's amazing how vive people get angry when i suggest that the consistent price hikes drive people away from vr.

oh, duh, Accel World!
I did know what that was after all. It came out when I was way too busy with life taking a left turn to get into it at the time but the designs are nice.
Are these pulled from the PSP?
that should make them pretty low poly. Nice. Might take some for body parts and such.

these are from Accel World vs Sword Art Online, though I do plan on searching through some of the psp/vita games for who i was originally trying to go for, kuroyukihime's nervelink/whateverthefuckitscalled avatar
i did pull this from it though for the time being to satisfy my autism for my waifu

they all run around 7-9k poly's so far, and most only have 2 or 3 mats, with one having 5 i think
for these uploads for anons im trying to keep everything as basic as possible so they can optimize/change as they see fit, instead of atlasing myself and shit when maybe someone didn't want that for their avatar, etc etc
>>254178592
its a pretty bad game honestly, came out in 2017 though so the graphics are...somewhat ok
im focusing mainly on the AW avatars right now because they are A. easier to do and B. look better at the low poly count since robots and shit

Alright anons, Serious Sam Friday is coming around again. The last go starting too early proved to miss the majority of anons, but we dragged on for enough hours for some to trickle in. Going to start at 11pm PST or 1am EST. Capture the flag and other PvP has proven to be fun so we are going to give that another go after the campaign, don't know which sam we should do though. there's no metric to prove that, only shitters underestimating sales based on steamvr stats which are deeply flawed.
It's actually estimated that total pc vr headsets of all kinds, including those sold in china exceeded 16 million from 2017 until now.
The only way to get a semi-accurate measurement is to look at the player stats for SteamVR home itself, since most vr users have launched it at least once, as well as the id for steamVR tutorial, then at least triple it to account for china.

The whole point of the quest is to let people without a decent computer get into vr. That said, you might want to look into a headset with outside in tracking rather than inside out. That was a huge thing for me in deciding not to get a WMR headset.
Anonymous No.254181285

I got the same CPU and a 970 and I can enjoy VR without any issues using a Vive. The Rift S is a headset which utilizes your computer, the quest is standalone. So if you want higher quality get the S and if you want wireless and no PC attached get the quest.

Stop thinking of headsets as "consoles" with different games. Once you're in the PC VR ecosystem, you can use SteamVR regardless of your headset choice and access all the games on there. Oculus wants its own VR store to be a walled garden that you can't use any other headsets with, which sucks if you decide to upgrade to a different brand in the future.

Yes, the quest + PC hacks will never be as good as actual PCVR. Get a rift S (or odyssey+, or used rift CV1, or vive, or wait for index) if the no wires aspect of the quest doesn't appeal over graphical fidelity and game selection.

You can build a VR PC for like 350 and get a WMR for 150~.

>implying South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, The Philipeans, Laos, Hong Kong, India, etc don't exist.
"china" is used broadly here and is implied, the "chinese general domestic market" is the "asian market" and very few western tech products are sold there. It's like the North American free trade agreement, they buy chinese products as general tech products. It's more likely someone has pimax or antVR or pico goblin etc than anything else I would assume, also htc vive but without access to steamvr. They're still openvr pc vr headsets.

there's more of them than there is of us. Westerners have more money per capita, but for every middle class westerner there's 1000 middle class people from asia. Why do you think companies like samsung rival microsoft in earnings?

not much anymore.
Technically, c# vs c++. It used to be physically based rendering vs garbage mobile games, or ease of ps4 builds vs ease of switch and wii builds, but not anymore.
from 2009 to 2017 unreal engine was the king of beautiful graphics mainly because nvidia/amd gpu software houses poured money into the tools and sdk for it.
Unity got a massive money injection from profitable android and ios games, but realized they needed to play with the big boys and can crank out sweet graphics now since 2017/2018 builds and going free to use.

Keep an eye on godot, it can do vr now and is fast as fuck.
The entire engine is 29mb zipped but can crank out unity level vr games and is easier to use, too.

The one thing that bothers me about vrchat on the quest is that it does not promote user generated content like its desktop counterpart. I feel like it might lead to a bad mindset among the new users, expecting content without the incentive to create any themselves. We might meme that VR has no games, but alot of creative avatars and worlds have appeared in its absence. Even if it's just configuring a pre-existing model, the process of uploading an avatar gave a majority of users exposure to entry level modeling that they would have otherwise not had. Sure it's still possible to upload avatars for the quest, but with the limitations it provides I wouldn't call it entry level. I still believe it is a great device for those who are already familiar with desktop vrchat, just not a good first experience.

godot+vulkan+valve proton+linux+krita+blender basically complete the cycle so we can ditch microsoft.
Microsoft knows it too, and that's why they're adding linux support to windows 10, they're scared since android is based on linux and interop porting android games to vulkan is way easier, and since dx12 is based on mantel, it got even easier for engines to build cross compatible.
It's a very scary time for the old guard, and south korea is ditching windows for linux too.

A good majority of the quest users I have talked to were first-timers. Of course, this could have been due to the fact that I was in the great pug west and one of the sleepover map. There might be more experienced users in worlds like avatar testing, but I doubt it.

that looks like an issue with the texture itself, likely it isn't seamless so you get those hard cutoffs where one edge of the texture runs into another
try experimenting with the different types of cubemaps you can create in Unity, I believe there's a drop-down with a bunch of different cubemap types under the texture's inspector

Every single server, backend system, and engine is developed and runs on linux.
Android, ios, and literally every single piece of technology you use today that isn't a microsoft's core pc platform is based on *nix.
every router, every smart tv, every everything else.
Even many of microsoft's products are *nix based now.
Valve Proton and their dx12 to vulkan translation engine is not only brilliant forward thinking by valve, it's absolutely nessisary.
Microsoft will always have a place in our hearts and windows will continue to exist, but the writing is already on the wall.
Windows 10 now contains a fully functional linux kernel and command line app. There's a very obvious reason for this.

Sure lemme just install some beatsaber songs on my oculus quest
Hmm wait a minute
That doesn't work and is impossible because like I said the only thing you can do besides install oculus apps is installing APKs, which run in an entirely different environment from oculus apps, and oculus apps are completely impossible to modify because they are encrypted and unavailable from even accessing when sideloading APKs.
TLDR how stupid are you retards for not understanding this shit, we had the same ordeal with the Oculus GO. You can't modify Oculus apps or games, you can't pirate Oculus apps or games. You can sideload APKs, which can be VR capable and even use the controllers, but they will not be games or apps found on the Oculus store. You cannot modify Oculus games like Beat Saber on the Quest because they are NOT ACCESSIBLE.
If you can't get access to something how the fuck do you expect to modify it?

friendly reminder that facebook offers only six degrees of freedom in their devices while valve is also developing and implementing an openvr api - making it their seventh degree of freedom, software freedom. oculus headsets are limiting your freedom

>seventh degree of freedom is gay open source trash
Who cares. Me and everyone will just buy what makes sense and your thousand dollar garbage makes no sense compared to the Rift S and the Quest. For 200 less you get both the best PC VR headset by far, and you can get the BEST standalone headset powered by the best hardware in the VR game.
Both are available at places like Best Buy and Amazon right now unlike your weird nerd tech.

You say that, but it's undeniable that Valve Index offers superior tracking and objectively best quality headset available on the market right now. Paired with Knuckles™ Virtual reality controllers, it becomes an ultimate weapon in your VR adventures. Available on Steam.

Are you in a position where you are able to give out discount codes for Valve index ?
Anonymous No.254217553 Replies: >>254217752

Premium sure sounds great! However, not everyone is ready to spend "premium" money on a VR headset yet. Those people could of course get an used, second-hand device, but they could as well consider Windows Mixed Reality headsets, like - for example - Samsung Odyssey. Inside-out positional tracking technology ensures easy set-up, so anyone could instantly jump into the game*, and SteamVR compatibility allows user to choose from large library of SteamVR-compatible titles. It's a perfect choice for people on reasonable budget.

*Windows Mixed Reality requires a compatible Windows 10 PC and headset, plus the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
