Only way to lose weight is to eat less. Obsessing over a game and skipping meals because of it will make you lose weight. Which fucking sucks for me because I'm trying to gain weight. Harder to snack while playing vr. Expert+ songs actually do work up a bit of a sweat which is good for you too. Couple of successful reports of people going from fatfuck to overweight and they generally quote beat saber as doing it. We have occasionally had workouts in vr too but unfortunately sticking to regimes has been the hard part. Getting a game that makes you active and keeps you away from the pantry will help a lot for losing weight provided you don't binge on cake like some retard immediately afterwards.

You might be ambidextrous. If I close my left eye and try to use my right eye alone my vision will be pretty blurry and difficult to aim with, while if i do that with the left eye I see perfectly clear and have no issue aiming. I know I'm supposed to shoot with both eyes open and I usually do, but I 'naturally' align the gun's sights to the left eye rather than the right. In practice this means I'm awkwardly sort of holding the gun in the middle of my body rather than against my shoulder as it should be. Not that guy but trying that test with your thumb up it has some strain almost on my left eye when I'm using that to focus. Like I can feel the muscles in it working ever so slightly more than when I try with the other eye. I know I'm right eye dominant though. I'm right hand and foot dominant too and quite severely. The Quest finding commercial success means that they have a foot in the door and mobile VR is guaranteed to exist forever from this point on. We have to keep it separated from enthusiast VR if we want quality control- the problem is that people want to latch on to the Quest's popularity for development growth, but if SteamVR/Valve follows the money and connects the two we're fucked. If they keep them separate, we can have a higher quality enthusiast ivory tower, but less market control and development power.

"eating less" however is bad advice. If you eat a primarily carbohydrate based diet and work out, it will take you roughly 40% or more longer to lose the same fat you would lose if you had instead made that a primarily fat sourced diet for the same effort.

And if you're NOT working out, "just eat less lmao" will actually cause your body to CONSUME MUSCLE before fat, so you'll be a lovely little ball of dough with no muscle and a SHIT slower metabolism than you had before.

Use VR to lose weight, but:

It's just vanilla right now, but if anybody has mod suggestions that still work in vivecraft, I can add them in. vivecraft works pretty well, but you do have to spend some time customizing the controls if you want vrchat-like movement instead of motionlet teleports. If you want to play I recommend installing the mod and testing it out in singleplayer for a while to get that right.

Having used the oculus rift with 3 sensors, vive and the Oculus quest, the tracking is not significantly better enough to matter for me, the only real issue is when the controllers get too close to your face when aiming in something like Pavlov, which hopefully they fix. assetto corsa? It's pretty fun, worth it if you get the game on sale. There's a small group of vrg anons that host lobbies most wednesday nights, so you can drive with a crew. I've mainly played the touge/drifting courses and cars, but there are some race cars and stuff too. The VR mode works fine except for the interface is this bizarre mouse-only control. The steam overlay/oculus dash mostly works around that, but it's still annoying. The game also has some other annoying quirks like not being able to respawn on the track closest to where you are if you fall off/flip the car. I've also heard good things about project cars 2 but never tried it personally.
