I don't think you have any idea how deep the shithole goes on these issues anon. There have, and continue to be, organized shitshows of anons. What happened back then, that wasn't "just that one guy who hates all", it was like, two, or three. When their bedtime hit you could watch the thread instantly die.

The issue with /vrgg/, is it is not a natural split, every single time it has been attempted, it has been a ripping, tearing, forced, shitting shitshow. What are the results of this painful ripping, asking posters to either browse two threads or ignore one or the other? Orb posting streamables of a dead game he stopped playing under a new name? Copied screencaps from this thread? Edited screenshots posted? The issue at hand, is VRC, is the core of /vrg/, it maintains the playerbase, it keeps anons from killing each other, and it is the thing that helped revive VR. Asking to remove that because spiteful anons "hate everyone get new ones" will run into the exact same issue, and hurt both threads in the process. It is not the time, and with the direction VR is going, it might never be the time, so stop bitching, put on some filters if you really hate VRChat, and post some damn content.

The thing that initially motivated me to support a split was the fact that there are multitudes of people on vg and v who would enjoy shooters but just don't like vrg's anime convention/soc vibe and just never read the thread as a result. If you seriously don't think and recognize that VRChat is offputting to people as either a shitty meme game for kids, Second Life VR, or anime circlejerking, then you've put on blinders.

The fact that vrchat is the only thing keeping VR discussion alive is a painful semi-truth that you're just using as a lever to try and keep everyone attached to one general, despite some people favoring outright leaving over staying around here. People trying to fuel a thread that's starting off with nigh nothing is normal behavior as well, if vrvg were to cultivate an audience of people (which requires actual games to discuss, so it's not happening til Gabe finishes his McDonalds) it'd stick around as a permanent thread that has a, more likely then not, significantly different culture and as a result different playerbase.

What you propose, is we remove the uranium from the reactor, toss it to the side because it is "yucky", and shove in "stale VR games without /vrg/'s mass of vrbros who like each other enough to play shitty games". With that in mind, that has been tried, and failed, but you continue to think, "lets do it again"

Ignoring these facts, you are wrong in assuming that we all need to bend over, do what "you" want, and help nurture an entire second thread just for the kind of anons who are displaced. If they liked VR enough they would have stuck around, plenty of non VRChat anons play games with /vrg/, but most just play VRChat then other games. A second thread requires dedicated posters, and, you know, actual other anons to back it. /vrlg/ survived despite being a joke too, because it has backing. What you want won't. Accept that, move on, post some content, organize games other then VRChat.

tl;dr

I'm all for a split when we can sustain it. We can't currently sustain it. There aren't enough players. Just look at the player counts for the games - there aren't a lot of people playing them. I understand your claim that there is a huge untapped group on 4chan that want to talk about these games but hate vrchat, but I don't believe it to be true.

I think a good way to test your theory is to make a vr game thread on /v/ and be clear about the fact that it's not about vrchat. If you get decent activity in those threads over a period of a couple of weeks, that would be good proof that you are right and a vrgames general may be appropriate.

Trying to split is a terrible idea, though. If the claim is that there are non vrchat players that want to talk about these games, why are you trying to split vrvg off of this thread? Everyone who organizes and plays other games from here also play vrchat.

I've beat Tetris Effect's Journey mode, from the looks of it it's about 50% of the content, because I expect it to be a showcase of all uhh.. envoirments?
Overall - it's a nice experience, but It's not as immersive as Beat Saber is. Having the controller vibrate to music is a nice touch. But it feels like they just spammed the particles/envoirments/themes on top of the gameplay and called it a day. It could have been done much more immersive. A couple envoirments do it better than others, like those were you trigger fireworks when you're doing good and the crowd is cheering - almost feels like you're some fireworks operator working outside of the site to have a good overview. Some of the musical ones are okay too, but some are just plain annoying - like the ones that change the spinning sound to something like "baba baba". You spin that fucking T block to get some extra time and all you hear is
