On sale, or in general? What kind of games are you looking for?
The first two games that come to mind are Beat Saber and Pavlov, but neither one is on sale. I'll try to make a rec list for sale games to post later though.

beat saber, blade and sorcery, pavlov, hotdogs handguns and handgrenades. I don't know about arizona sunshine, never played it.

It's good as long as you can tolerate arcade shooting and reloading mechanics.
That part where you are in mines with just a flashlight and a gun is one of my favourite moments in VR.
It will make you feel badass, it's one of the few VR games that has A(A) budget feel.

Essential free stuff to try in VR:
google earth VR
rec room - fun various minigames. Better with somebody you know though, since most pubbies are literal children.
google spotlight stories - 10-20 minute VR movies. Light and wholesome
vrchat (lots of adventure maps and games even in singleplayer. Don't have a good list, but "treehouse in the shade" is cool off the top of my head)
http://moonrider.xyz/ - a web-based clone of beatsaber/soundboxing or free. Not as good as the real games so don't let it color your experience too much
Anonymous No.273360841
Valve was saying how MP is out of the picture because of the small install base. Well they have 1 (one) IP that doesn't need that too much.
It's Ricochet.
And Left 4 Dead.
When are they making Left 4 Dead VR bros?

What can I do to avoid my ballsack being caught in the Index wriststrap? I worry I might tear one off my gonads off during some of those more intense Beat Saber songs.
Underwear isn't an option sadly.

I bought Assetto Corsa ultimate but then refunded it because I didn't realise the VR implementation worked like it did. Not a dig at the game itself, just not what i'm looking for.

That's the case with all simulators that weren't built for VR. Awkwardly using the keyboard and mouse. Jittery rendering despite high FPS.

I just bought that "LOW-FI" game that was discussed here a while ago. Expensive so i'll be taking a look at it, maybe make some webms, see if anyone else likes it so they don't have to make the plunge blind.

If that's what makes or breaks the game for you try Live for Speed (lfs dot net).
It doesn't have as extensive modding as Assetto Corsa, but I find parts of it better (you can have a static waifu in the passenger seat, you can easily make skins for cars and show them online), tires feel more juicy than in AC, it's like I'm actually feeling everything like in a real car, other than G forces.
Demo is free, it runs on a toaster.

VRcover released their fake leather replacement thing for the index
https://vrcover.com/product/valve-index-interface-foam-replacement-basic-set/
I kind of liked their rift version, and this one looks a lot more plush. However, $40 is literally the same price as getting 2 official replacement gaskets for the index
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1072820/Face_Gasket_for_Valve_Index_Headset__2_Pack/
So for pure hotswappability, it doesn't seem worth it.

My biggest sweat problem is foam the back of the index. They should have made that velcro so you could take it off and wash it.

Since the thumbnail is a furry this thread is already doomed for shitposting, so I’ll join in.

Literally skeletons in the closet here.
Anonymous No.273362314
>>273361840
That's okay. It doesn't fix all issues, you still have to either take the headset off or navigate through menus on a desktop view between the races if you want to change a track, a car, etc. etc. I didn't bother modding SkyrimVR either, so I can't really blame you.
>>273361481
Live for Speed is good too, maybe it'll be your gateway drug to Assetto Corsa in the future. I play it more often than AC because it's kind of easier to just jump in and do what I want, and only take off the headset when I'm done altogether.
Anonymous No.273362351
I unironically don't have any problem with people who want to use furry avatars, just so long as they aren't massive faggots. A massive faggot is a massive faggot with or without a fursuit and we already have plenty of them.

Yeah, I didn't even know about the game before they dropped it somewhere last year.
It's nothing spectacular, but it works and it's easily better than vanilla Assetto Corsa. Relying on mouse and keyboard is retarded and I wish Content Manager worked the same way like LFS handles it.
It could probably be worth a try to get more /vrg/ people into it, because base version is free. Season packs work like DLC, that unlock tracks and cars and something else too probably.
It has a better SP 'campaign' than AC too.
It's also very easy to host, join and namedrop lobbies.
