Question for Rift S owners:
I have the Odyssey+ and enjoy it except for the tracking. When aiming down the sights it gets awkward when the controllers are in front of eachother.

I know the Rift S uses similar tracking but with more cameras for better coverage. Does this issue still occur on the Rift S? I may return the Odyssey and get a Rift S if it doesn't suffer from this problem.

Really it's a problem that software developers should be aware of and working around, for example the fixing of angles that Gun Range VR does. It's a simple workaround but it helps tremendously. Feels weird at first and until you've configured it correctly but that's because it is a technique still in its infancy.

If you already have a big movie room, projector or big TV to watch movies, VR isn't going to do much on that front, but if you don't, it's nice to have a virtual space.

That's either your settings or your headset. I didn't have any real problems on WMR or Index.

Assetto bases your position on where your headset is when the game loads, Ctrl+Space recenters. Project Cars and ACC base it off your playspace and let you adjust it in the menus.

I'd recommend giving Project Cars 2 a shot. I don't like it as much, but the VR support is better, so it'd fix some of your issues.

It's action Rpg. Combat feels a lot like Until You Fall. It's more about timing and leveraging special abilities and followers. Leveling isn't from XP but looting materials to upgrade equipment and followers. Level/world design is more DS or metroid, full of branching paths that circle back to a hub and a lot of side dungeons that you can only access with abilities you get later on, and there is one central place where all the shops are. The game is Story based so there is a lot of pacing. For actual games, no. For vrchat, having FBT improves immersion, but also turns you into a lazy anime girl hovering in midair everywhere. A year ago we did a lot more dance nights and it's obviously good for that, but the vrg dance scene has been pretty dead lately.

I see that DCS has VR support but any other flight sims that are going to be worth it.

I've been using a google cardboard vr system and I'm pretty used to it so I expect actually good screens and graphics processor (rtx 2070) will be even better.

I did some of my pilots training on a redbird simulator that ran on microsoft flight simulator and I really hope that in the next few years flight simulators make full use of the virtual cockpit. So much of flying is about muscle memory so I could never really do a HOTAS for flying any of the planes i had experience with since it really fucked with my muscle memory.

Had time to upload just this, the CTF map was absolutely nuts, there was a lot of open area, so snipers had a field day just picking off people. The spawnpoint moved to wherever the players had moved up the most and it bugged from what we could tell. Everyone ended up stuck on the beach unable to leave, so it was a constant battle. We played this for about 20 or 30 minutes total.
