Looks like it's a 5K Plus with reduced FoV to save on cost, but the FoV was the only reason to buy either of the 5K headsets. It's still got more FoV than an Index, but it also has the same number of pixels, so it's going to have a worse image too.

went ahead and got vorpx. generally kinda buggy, some profiles don't really work and ones that do need some tweaks.
playing deep rock galactic in VR was pretty intense - mostly playable but still kinda wonky.
played grim dawn for like 2 hours though, was pretty mindblowing.
i need to figure out how to create profiles from scratch though - the existing method is find another game with the engine and copy the profile, but then how do people make new profiles for games on other engines?

What did you used to play with? The default settings have the saber aligned with the shaft of the controllers, which in a way is more accurate and probably makes sense for normies just starting out. I and most other pp farming autists change it so the saber is aligned parallel to the top of the controller though (about 30 degrees pitch in saber tailor). This puts the saber going straight forward roughly at the neutral position of the wrist adduction/abduction axis (up/down with thumb upwards). That way you can get good scores on notes at the bottom row, without having to move your arm at the elbow.
