What's wrong with the neck fix? VRC shrinks everything attached to the head bone so if the neck needs to be culled adding it to the head's weights will include it. VRC's full body IK doesn't use the neck bone (at least as significantly as it does in 3 point) so it doesn't even need to have weights or length to look good. The bone just needs to be there for the humanoid rig to function properly.

Nigga you can just click the plus button and add it again if you need it. You won't though, because the neck shouldn't have anything weighted to it for this fix to work. If you really want to get fussy you can use the vertexweightedit modifier to remove all of the weights but keep the group or just scribble all over it with the subtract weight painting brush.

In-game turning requires two buttons, playspace only needs one. There's also this old reset rotation way, guess I can try that instead.
I would use in-game turning but unfortunately fucking Vive wands like to get a "stuck" input so I end up spinning in circles every now and then if I put them on touch. If I put them on click I very often press "north" and "south" directions alongside which I binded to important shit like fire selector or radio.

i like VR Paradise, it's got a nice vibe and is easy to use. It would be simple to expand on in interesting ways (recording more dances for more types of models) but I have a feeling the devs will go a more cost effective route and just bloat it with more of the same. Usually it occurs when your head height is too short and the bones in your armature fold in on themselves, try placing your head/viewpoint as close to the models actual one as possible when calibrating in on fbt.
Another reason this could be happening is rotation/positioning might be off on the actual bone and the simplest way is to just run it through CATS fbt fix.

That's not to say that everyone does it, but a high amount of the VRchat population are "mirror dwellers" (especially the day 1/early adopters). Further, when you look at world populations and see HUNDREDS of people in that world, but only a few instances that make up maybe 100 of 300, that's because a lot of people have developed cliques where they go into private/friends only worlds and sit in front of mirrors. You can still find people who enjoy exploring but if you look at a lot of the popular worlds they will all have mirrors, and there will always be people standing in front of them socializing. It's just a fad of sorts idrk. Personally I don't get it but I've heard from others that it reduces their social anxiety even more, basically removing the eye-eye face-face socialization (granted it IS in VR, still). For me, it takes me OUT of the interaction and I dislike that the interactions feel less genuine, to each their own

Most CS:GO maps (the one exception being office) don't have enough obstacles. Blindfire out of cover and busy maps feel great, but it's pretty useless most of the time. It really feels like everyone's riding on some hower segways.

OG Vive, I'd say around 4-5, which is probably why I never drained a full one to zero, or at least I don't remember it.
The one in the kit lasts around 2. I was worried more about my trackers and controllers when I used for dancing. Unfortunately no lighthouse controllers are good enough to buy spares for hotswapping.

I dislike CS, but I admit CS formula sucks the least out of VRFPS we have, CTF's got the same problem TDM/DM does - you don't earn money, so everyone just runs around with skill cannons and gets spawnkilled due to retarded spawns, it's absolutely brainded, the only difference in CTF is you'll be sniped by M99 before you get anywhere near the objective so you'll get tired of playing objective.

The more CtF is played, the more we will learn which maps are good or bad, and they can be vote skipped and we only play good maps.
Jap Shrine is one of the better CtF maps. Halo map with spinning fan one of the worst.
Gotta have patience with these lobbies and hope they grow. CtF is not something for the CS crowds imo. It's more casual and laid back.
Im hoping CtF will improve 2020, but I guess we will see. I hope it becomes more organic, and less orbiting/having a host.

Voting fails because people don't vote/vote "no" for the lulz. Even with SnD there are people hellbent on exploiting the flaws of the gamemode and we do nothing about it.
Gamemodes like that require solid game design. Pavlov is just in that regard, unless you force people to limit themselves to "fair" weapons and you personally make sure maps don't allow for spawncamping it's just gonna devolve into bullshit and nobody will even bother to show up, because it's supposed to be entertainment.
