I think advanced haptic feedback is still pretty far out. None of the companies working on headsets seem to be focusing on it at all, and you won't see it really take off until something like that happens. There's already some basic things out like the bHaptics stuff though, so hopefully I'm wrong.
As far as headsets go, you could keep your eyes out for the Reverb G2 in a couple of months since that might be good. Other than that, the only good option is the Index if you don't want a Facebook headset.

It's pretty easy. The exports are basically complete. Here's a step by step for everything in blender. Unity isn't any different for any other model. VRC might not need the full body fix any more with the IK update but it's still functional with it. Also the edit to the head/neck bone in the video is for the neck fix so just moving it backwards so it's straight is fine now instead of backwards and down to get rid of the neck bone.

There's also another part to one of the steps not included in the video. Once you're reordered your materials so the transparent ones are at the bottom, go into edit mode on the model mesh, select everything, and search for "sort mesh elements" > "by materials" > "by faces" or unity won't know you've made any changes. You might need to do this before and after atlasing but probably just before.

that's an issue with blender fbx exports and/or unity fbx imports. Unity and blender have a different direction for xyz axes so it's got some bullshit with small bones. Also unity can't do trig properly so angles often get fucked. I've never had to fix the finger bones for any of my literal hundred+ so werks on my masheeen I guess.
