blender is a free program, cats is a plugin within that program that makes it easier to do simple avatar upload stuff, tuppers outdated megatutorial will teach you the basics of avatar uploading with cats and after that all you have to do is use unity (make sure you use the right version of it) to upload it to vrchat (all of this is in the megatutorial but outdated slightly)

got my OQ2 on the 29th here are my reviews of some games

In Death: It's good. Some quality of life changes can be made here like a difficulty setting (frequency of blood of lamb) or better map generation. Dodge mechanic could be better implemented. However In Death is a great game


Audica: I let all my normie friends play. I'm not into rhythm games so my review might be biased. Gun models are pretty lackluster, thankfully it has an active modding community and the devs don't seem to mind. The sound quality on the OQ2 is what is preventing me from playing this game. 3.5/5


Until you Fall: It felt cool and I looked forward to playing this game the most but the game relying on the parry mechanic is very disappointing. Parry is just a Heads-Up Display with colors that don't mesh well with the environment. Parrying should be based on character animations rather than HUD. Good graphics, story sounded kinda shit, music sounded decent, shield break mechanic took away from the flow of the fight.

And I am right. That halloween 2020 is not spookality maps. Those are generic maps tagged by the users with Halloween with some minor new updates. Many of those are old halloween 2019 and 2018 maps.

The spookality hub map is jsut the hub as I stated. Imagine trying to go through all the spookality maps and always needing to go back to the hub to find the next spookality map to try. It's insane annoying friction without even the ability to read the descriptions.

You launch them and hold down your fire button to make it travel slowly, you can then open your scope and manually guide the direction the missile travels and when you let go of the trigger it commits at incredigbly hihg speeds

Don't forget, mechs have quite in depth armor damage system, stripping armors on the backside and shooting the core (the fan) or cockpit is quite lethal.

You also die without legs pretty fast, so you can also focus on these. For maximum humiliation you can focus solely on hands to remove weapons.

I'm starting to put together the groundwork for the November school event.

The format is going to be school festival themed. I'm still putting down the framework but the general idea is that I'm going to set up stalls so that people can show off content/activity that they want to show off. For example, if you like Assetto Corsa and really want people to try it, you can get together with some other people, get some content together, and have me place it on the map.
If people want to do acts/other activities I may be able to work that in. I want the format to be fairly free while conforming to a school festival format (and also within the realm of things I know how to do in terms of map creation)

For now, I'd like for people to be mulling over what they'd like to place on the map. I'm starting to lay the groundwork down now.
