We have a lot of people playing Pulsar now. I'd like to get some official hours going this week 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EST Thursday Dec. 3 and Saturday Dec. 5 and see how things go. If there are better hours or days you'd like just reply to this post.

You can also play the pirated version online. I know because my friends and I have been doing it for the past few days. I can get the back strap right under my occipital bun and it holds in place without the straps covering my ears. If you're not white, YMMV. The only thing about it is it's a pain to adjust it for different people.

What's important to players is content. A large majority of the worlds in VRC are created by the same small group of people. How many worlds has MStar uploaded in vrchat? Dozens, many of which we visit very regularly.
By charging people to upload worlds, you chase people like him away from your game. Even for amateur world creators, what's the point of learning the craft and building more if you can only publish a few before you have to pay.

CVR's business model ensures that it will always have fewer worlds to explore than vrchat. That's a big deal, vrchat will always be the better choice for people who like to explore worlds, or, you know, not hang out on the same 4 maps.
If server space is a concern, a system that prunes worlds that aren't used for a certain time period makes so much sense. Charging content creators is a stupid business decision and it ensures that vrchat will always be a superior product.

Ok, so I made this bunny ear, now how should I proceed from here.
Was thinking about subdividing it a few times(It's currently 88 tris) and then smooth vertex to make it less rough. Then use the "High poly mesh" for creating a normal/Ao/etc maps, and use it on the low poly one in picture related.

Do I have to make the UV map on the low poly one first, before I subdivide and smooth it? What issues might I run into?

if you want symmetrical, it's easiest to set one half of the mesh as a different material that you're not going to use so the baking doesn't mess up.
to bake the high poly into the low poly, export them as separate files, drag the low poly into substance, and then add the high poly under "Bake Mesh Maps".
after you've baked the maps, you can export a new lowpoly with only one material, and re-import to substance so you can see how it looks while you're working on it.

yes, please UV unwrap first by marking seams, newer versions of substance can unwrap for you but it tries to keep everything on one island and causes extreme texture warping.
after you get everything set up, add layers for each of the colours, mask them out so it looks close to what you'd like, and then use a baked lighting material or a fill layer with a baked lighting filter on top to add ao/lighting detail to your texture so it'll look good in vrchat.

for small indents you can just add a layer in substance with a lower height and draw them on
there's also a few hard surface stamps in the default library
