not sure how well the quest can sync playspace with it but last time I used kinect with my cv1 the go-to choices were driver4VR and kinect2VR. The former is paid, the latter is free, try the free one first because the difference between them is minor.

It's faux leather that you can wipe off with an antibac wipe or something, never had issue with it personally.
No FOV increase (with Index that's mostly from how close you can get it to your head), but it did effectively block out all light leaks which helps for immersion and minimising glare.

I use VROptician and never had issues for any of my three sets. Apparently the other one (WidmoVR?) isn't accepting orders at the moment so you're stuck with them. Order soon because of the upcoming Christmas rush.
I always found additional filters/ coatings to be a bit of a meme on glasses but up to you. An argument can definitely be made for blue light filters for VR lenses.
