Avatar creators, is there a shader or unity method that would make all motion on my avatar look like it has a lower framerate? Trying to do a stopmotion themed character.

Add a dynamic bone to the root of your avatar, turn the stiffness to 1 so you don't actually wobble, and lower the refresh rate down to lower than the default, I like keeping it around 30 so it's not too jerky, but you can set it to what you want.

i mean all you really have to do is shamelessly rip off mount and blade and translate that combat system to first person vr and add some impact stuff that if you get hit cleanly enough you stagger and if you get hit with bladed weapon of high enough quality on weak spot you lose a limb which either slows you down on movement or disables 2h and or one hand usage to make it punishing to swing around wasting movement
bushido blade did it well where most duels were over in one clean swing at best and if not you would still be wounded even from a not so great swing making people be more careful how and when they swing which could give it a duelist feel, if it has a bunch of players it can get chaotic and i'm not sure how fun it would be to have realistic medieval combat where people just huddle behind shields and pikes / spears reign supreme most of the time with coordination

Modded Skyrim with MageX, scoped bows, VR throw, is a great game for archer and wizard combat. Even a dagger shank thief isn't that bad as waggle makes more sense with smaller blades, and being able to chuck knives like a pro while pulling them off many holsters on your body is fun. Hey bros, I'm working on a program and my next task is to implement full body tracking with the Vive trackers for our characters, basically like VR chat does.
I don't have much experience with VR Chat and zero experience with full body tracking, I just got 4 pucks and the straps and everything yesterday.

Custom shapes assigned to bones, typically called widgets. That's a full rig setup in the bottom example with FK/IK bones, not just simply a skeleton armature.

Go through the bone layers under the object data of the rig (should look like a stickman).

Was afraid of this. What's the simplest way to do this that won't take 10 years? I've tried using the default armature applied to the model with empty weights in blender then just letting mixamo make the weights for me but it always comes out like shit, primarily things like fingers and shoulder/chest stuff always gets fucked up. Those automated weight programs just can't tell the minute differences between where one body section ends and another begins so you get weird shit like two fingers moving one another due to the weights

i already shaded and applied main textures, detailmasks, colormasks etc. I don't think ive ever bothered weight painting the model at all since it looks like pure and utter eyecancer. its "hair" is also made of accessories in koikatsu and apparently some bones had the same name as others and now, for example, bones for the bangs either dont exist or i havent found them yet.

I got my own edit of this but the problem is that when I try to give it a more "alive" skin tone the atlas is just one solid color so it doesn't look as nice; full pink-ish instead of full zombie-white doesn't render good.
I was thinking of finding the original model which I assume doesn't have just one color for body and applying it on my edit.
