Fuck no, especially with that card. You can improve things by careful selection of maps, only showing optimised avatars (the rating system is dog shit, you're best just learning who makes optimised avatars and who doesn't and unblocking selectively), or using performance related mods.
Resolution scale will help a bit but you're still going to struggle with large meetups because VRChat gobbles up VRAM and there's nothing you can do about that.

I've found CPU honestly matters much more in VRChat than your GPU. If your 1060 is the bottleneck, just lower render resolution in SteamVR settings until it isn't. CPU things you can do to help are:

An FPS cap won't help much if you're going to be mostly below it anyway. Lowering resolution is the most you can really do if you think your 1060 is the limit. Test it out for yourself when you're suffering performance, and keep lowering it until you see your FPS stop (significantly) improving.

there's more than a few maps that have "get to know your friends" type games, which i find to be quite nice in a similar way to speed dating, but perhaps a bit more casual, without the pressure of 2 people stuck together in a room for a few minutes.

It could simply want to protect its maker, or it goes out to kill all other life, if there is any, to make the galaxy safe for us, why not terraform every planet exactly like earth too while we are on it
The AI has so many options it could go wrong, it doesn't have to end in a godlike being
Could even kill itself, as it gets depressed at how limited this universe for itself would be, considering godlike power and possibly experiencing every second in years at that point
