I played the game up to the sewers and it is honestly pretty bad. While there aren't a bunch of gamebreaking bugs, the combat is just waggle and physically chucking spells. The NPC companions you get are dumb. Seeing their clothes get torn off in combat is nice though. The areas in general are boring and there isn't much interactivity, but maybe it'll open up in the full game. It's better than that Sword Oratoria game which is the only good thing I can say about it.

He has a newer stream where he reveals more details he just uncovered. From more code leaks, it'll be running a Qualcomm SOC. Deck could potentially connect with it to provide split rendering. It's my favorite movie and novel. But I hate Ridley Scott, who really deserves no credit for that film because it was Harrison Ford and the technical crew who really made that film amazing. Double check render resolution in SteamVR. Set it to about 1.3x most of the time and drop it when you're in a really busy lobby if need be. Inside VRC you can adjust graphic settings to in safety there's now an option for ultra/high/med/low/ it'll mostly effect stuff like AA/Shadows/and ambeint occlusion.

I recently remembered that I can pin my monitor while in a VR game and it was nice watching Youtube videos while plinking at targets in H3VR.

The system we used in the Sneed event worked well and is also largely scale invariant. It would be entirely feasible to apply it and hold the same size of competition as we've had in the past in a half hour instead of the typical 3+.

I think it's similar to the headset and the room required for the lenses to properly guide the light, room for LCD's etc.

There's a few reasons, but the main one is "ease of use" and it's meant largely to port UTS2 materials from because UTS2 is old and broken and can't handle HDR lighting without turning washed out. It also aims to try adn get accurate world lighting, like ACLS. I personally started using it because I didn't end up supersaturated in terms of colour.

Liltoon isn't a great idea because it's basically grab pass: the shader. If you're going for fur since that's the only reason you niggers would go for it you should pirate XSfur and then decide if its worth it because it doesn't blow the fuck out of people's graphics cards. I'd unironically suggest poiyomi over liltoon in terms of performance. As much as I hate that shader, it's still better than some others.
There's other untested brands within the group including shit like UnlitWF which might have something you want. One model that looked really cool at Vket used it.

IMU tracking is shit, doesn't matter how many decent programmers pool their knowledge into trying to make software for it. IMU will drift, and it isn't as precise as laser tracking even when properly calibrated. These trackers are only able to output 100hz refresh rate and they rely upon servers and network to relay information on tracking positions. Complex movement will never be as good due to this. All examples of slimeVR show this. If you watch any of the Youtube demos of it, you can see that it's not anywhere as precise as vive trackers. All of this fails to mention the extra shit you need to wear, the extra time you spend setting it up everytime you put it on. And the extra precise settings needed to keep it from drifting due it being IMU based. God forbid one of you trackers starts to shift on your body, or drops it's wifi connection. It will not ever be as easy as turning off a vive puck and turning it back on. Hell I don't even usually have to recalibrate when a vive puck glitches out.
