If you're having trouble keeping stable, try to place the base of your joystick controller on your leg or armrest or something. You can also get VERY close to targets that have no air defense with them- the most they'll do is shoot back with their roof MG and that'll do almost nothing, so don't be afraid to get close when you're mopping up with it.

The planes fly pretty realistically, and yet I still find them easier than Saccflight, mostly because the stick isn't super finicky. Definitely not arcade-y though.

There was a pretty big turn out last year with pretty good frames because Kons are pretty optimized as is. I'd love to see as many people there as possible! Maybe even more than last time. Can someone break down OVR Advanced Settings/Playspace mover to a brainlet who just got FBT?

Do I need to launch OVR each time I use VRChat? Should I worry about a ban for Playspace? Also what hotkeys do you anons use for it.

if you install openvr advanced settings you should be able to just move yourself around. check the motion/offsets settings in OVR advanced settings to turn it on, and then maybe check the bindings for openVR advanced settings to actually bind space drag to something.

A SOS CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OCCURED once again for this jelly season.
Everyone has managed to submit all the gifts and cards and such.
Gifts has been mostly packed in-game and was tested to be GPU instanced safe and effective.
Maps have been placed with working colliders

Due to the SOS feature creep of recent events and people voicing their concerns on it we've decided to reduce the scope and complexity of this event compared to the previous year.

Itinerary for the event proper is as follows:
1) SOS Map instance creation
(if overflow is needed, host gets a sub-host for a secondary map)
2) SOS Coin gathering
3) SOS Host micro speech (30 seconds)
4) SOS Special video by /vrg/ productions
4) SOS Gift opening ( w/ special music by meatman)
5) SOS Chill time
Note: SOS Main gift instance is streamed/recorded for posterity specially the gift opening sequence.


Timeline:
SOS Mesh baking optimization = Jan 14-15
[Finalization of gifts and double checking if everyone is accounted for by GUNO here]
SOS Final Dry run test = Feb 1st
SOS Secret Santa 2022 = Feb 2nd

Note there will be Four (4) instances for this event, up from Three(3) of the previous years.
