I've had my quest 2 since christmas. First thing I did was dezuck it, but I've mostly been playing pcvr anyway. One thing that I never get tired of is running up to people and waving at them, and having them wave back. It makes me excited for these next gen headsets that have eye tracking and how that will bring an even greater level of intimacy. No, it requires sideloading an old apk of the oculus android app and making a developer account. It takes about 10 minutes to set up and you don't need a facebook account. The only headset function that doesn't work is the social tab (which is just full facebook integration anyway) but this just means that you only have your oculus profile. You can still use the store to buy things, play online games, etc.

You probably want to purchase virtual desktop from the store anyway. That's what i did. For games that I want to try before buying, I sideload the apk using sidenoder on a pc. I don't have the guide on me but hopefully some other Anon has it.

FOV is slightly worse, but you can push the quest2/virtualdesktop to 120hz IF you have a powerful enough pc. Even 90hz is more than enough I think. But I did switch to 120hz for eleven and it's buttery smooth. To achieve 120hz in pcvr games you're gonna need a seriously beefy pc and take advantage of that adaptive resolution amd tech.

You climb climb around a giant bean stalk that you can see from top to bottom with climbing hooks and ziplines, collect resources, fight dudes, do challenges and quests, craft gear and supplies, and eventually kill the boss and make your way to the next Bean Stalk. It took me 25 hours to 100% the game with the holiday event and all that. I'd say that it is worth the price on sale right now. Co-op in March will be neat, but I have no clue how much it'll actually change the game from what they've said as things right now are balanced around singleplayer.

The party system is really easy to use and displays all party members on the map(same with when you add someone as a friend). Unsure at this stage if parties share EXP. I prefer odin as a magic overhaul and it works well with vokrii since it's the same author. I recommend checking out his other stuff since it's all pretty good and often has a more minimal and a more substantial version, like vokrii vs ordinator or odin vs apocalypse etc.

i made a something in blender and when i try to import the fbx of it in unity it is always rotated wrong facing down by 90 degrees
i have tried to rotate the avatar before exporting it in blender but it always is rotated wrong in the same direction

It works, I played Tetris Effect VR off gamepass and I know some anons played Squadrons off EA Play. Some games like the Myst remake don't have VR support in those versions though.
Can't remember if I had to do anything special for it to work or not, but you definitely need SteamVR running before you start the game.

Assuming you don't mean hair coming out of your knees or something, you just need to make a new bone parented to the head bone and weight paint to it to that then make it a dynamic bone in unity although you presumably already know this so your question doesn't really explain what your problem is. Is it moving too sharply? Not enough? If it is literally just stuck to your head then it's because you haven't made the bones dynamic.

I don't think I'm going to stick with Zenith very long if I can't fix these controls. These controls are ACTUALLY the worst, of any VR game I've ever played. I have to use gestures to cast spells, but the gestures don't seem to work. I had to use steamVR to rebind the controllers for WMR just so I could turn and sprint, and now I can't move forward on the left stick, and sprint still doesn't work. SteamVR then bugged so I can't revert controls to the default settings.
This is actually the worst and if I can't find a way to undo all of it, i'm going to quit. Any suggestions? I can't believe someone would make a VR game with controls this bad.
