You can also use OBS's VLC source, which can render softsubs, and stream the video into vrchat (through your own rtmp server, or topazchat's). Then you don't have to bake subs in advance. It's definitely more reliable to bake the subs and host a static file though, if you know what you're going to watch in advance.

Make should only recompile files that were modified since it was last run, so it would only recompile files that were actually changed by rerunning the configuration script.

Come join in on a casual low-effort, low-poly Kon event! It'll be fun to make lil' Kon versions of yourself with fellow anons. If you aren't able to make one yourself, there are plenty of avatar worlds with Kons you can use. Texture edits are always a fun entry point into model making/kitbashing. For anons who already made a Kon last year... it's been a year! I'm sure either your main avatar has changed or maybe you've grown your skills? Now is a great time to show off what you've learned through out the year!

There was a pretty big turn out last year with pretty good frames because Kons are pretty optimized as is. I'd love to see as many people there as possible! Maybe even more than last time. I replaced the cooler when I upgraded my GPU, and I removed the CPU to clean off a little bit of old thermal paste that had dried on the side. Bios detected that the CPU had been reseated, so it wanted to do some autoconfiguration. I decided to update the bios while I was in there. After it completed, it rebooted, except there was no video. I let it sit for about a half hour before I decided to power cycle it. Still no video. Started removing components even though obviously nothing was broken but y'know. Board doesn't have a flashback function, but Asus claims you can autoload bios roms from usb. Despite my best efforts, wouldn't work. So I declared the board dead. I was gonna upgrade anyway, so I guess I'm just upgrading sooner. than anticipated.

I might buy some tools to flash the chip manually, because I did want to use this board for a server at some point.

So within the vlc source you setup a playlist. It'll play the video as a element in your scene and the audio with be it's own input with the other audio mixers. I think you can also play/pause/ff/rewind by hovering over the element in the scene. You don't hear the audio but you'll see the video playback
