Not sure if it's technically VR but I built something that probably qualifies. I don't know what to call it so I guess I'll just describe it. I made something vaguely like a mirror. I got a projector to turn one of the walls of my apartment into a screen and set up cameras around my irl room to use for real-time ML optical tracking. I use this to track my pose and physical location. I created a 1:1 replica of my irl room as a 3d-modeled space. I project the replica of my room onto the wall. I use the tracking data from the cameras to animate a copy of my avatar in the virtual room as a mirror of me. I also use the tracking data to distort the image so that when I look at the scene it appears as though it's being viewed through a window/mirror, not just a flat image.

You know that meme where it's like "I don't even know who I am anymore" and there's a guy standing in front of a mirror but the mirror has a vrchat avatar? Yeah it's like that (except I have much better taste in avatars).

The 9/11 event used shaders, so it could be put on anything. An easier way to recognize just your own avatar is to use vrchat API's GetBonePosition() in udon to get the transforms of a mechanim bone in your avatar's rig. Then measure a value you think will be unique to that avatar like the angle between the head and eye bones or distance between head and neck etc. Jaw bone is typically unused and might be useful too.
