turn off anything remotely related to smoothing or reprojection. install OpenVR advanced settings and tweak it there too.
the only type of reprojection that you actually NEED, and the one that's actually any good, you can't turn off anyway. it's not as good as the CV1 yes, but it's decent enough as long as you aren't warping your playspace with the funny gravity movement at mach 10.
