I'm working on a VRC world and the stock lightmapper is frustrating me. Baking on GPU produces broken lightmap soup, and CPU takes a long time and still produces artifacts that I can't seem to fix, and playing with the settings to try to fix them just takes to long due to having to bake on CPU. Since you specified that you're not intending to make it from scratch, all you need to do is know what you want to do and how to do it (google and this thread will help you).
Texturing can be tricky if you're not good at rendering, but just matching colours by playing around with filters shouldn't be too hard.

Any other anons wear glasses? Do you wear them in VR? I just bought a headset last week and tried without glasses for the first time last night and couldn't really tell the difference. My prescription is -2.0 both eyes, just bad enough I need glasses to legally drive basically. I do have a huge amount of prism in my left eye that I leave uncorrected, which makes it hard to focus but I'm getting used to it. I'll probably keep going without.

What is the best wireless PC VR option available now? I just bought the Vive pro 2 with the wireless adapter and I've been having nothing but problems with signal dropping, latency, and poor picture quality. It worked fine for about a week and then started dropping connection every 15-20 minutes and I can't figure out why.

Is the air link a better system? I've got an absolute beast of a gaming PC, 3090 ti and i9 16 core cpu, so I want something that will run off my PC, just preferably without the wire. I was unimpressed by the Meta Quest Pro launch trailer so I bought something else.
