A couple days ago you guys recommended that I merge clothing meshes in blender according to what parts of the outfit will be switchable or not. But what do I do when different bits of an outfit use different shaders? Like the shirt and jacket here, one is liltoon and the other is liltoon with outline. What do I do in those cases? well to be fair there are still a lot of things you can enjoy even just playing in seated mode all the time. i play like this too actually as i dont have any space and dont have FBT. vrchat is perfectly fine in seated mode, unless you want to full gamut of social interaction. porn and porn games will always be better done seated (or in bed) of course. as for real games, any kind of vehicle sim is good to check out since they obviously pair well with seated mode. skyrim vr also apparently plays fine seated too. the good thing about having an index vs something like a g2 is it actually has good tracking, so you dont have to worry about trying to play a game like beat saber with the g2's shitty cameras, but im not sure how fun beat saber would be seated anyway.

It's probably complicated. Is any communication on the internet real social interaction? Are online friends real friends? And is a conversation through text less "real" than a voice call? If so, I'd say VR interaction is somewhere right between voice calls and real life interaction.

I thought you had to import a model into blender, install cats, pray to slanesh, export, install unity, update to this months version, downgrade to the version from 2 months ago, reinstall unity, export back to blender because you put the shoulder bone above the head bone, pray to slanesh, reimport to unity, manually tick a box for every finger and mouth viseme, upload, pray to slanesh, realize you forgot to add a view and your camera is 3ft above your head... and give up and just pay the extra $80 on top of the $20 to get the unity file from the author?

Mechanics are shown and demonstrated in excellent gameplay design where you feel good when you figure it out but you're guided enough where you don't get stuck easily. Brute force is always an answer where you can just make more copies, but trying to do it with less is when you get more creative.

We use robot arms for doctors performing brain surgery because it gives them nanometer degree control and the ability to work remotely. But it's never pre-programmed to do cuts.
You could maybe convince some mom and pop burger joint to purchase a mimic routine burger flipper/frier, but larger companies have simplified and more efficient methods already.
