quest 2 is for poorfags, but its a solid mid-range headset, it's just cheap because zuckerberg is evil and trying to crush the market. Recommended for newcomers to the hobby who don't mind the usual facebook spying.

Index is still the best for the enthusiast who wants an easy route to full body tracking for vrchat or meme finger tracking for Alyx. It is fragile and unreliable as hardware goes and has a reputation for regular RMAs before the warranty expires. It might be a frustrating first headset for a newbie.

Pico is a chinese alternative mid-range headset, good specs but the usual weird third party experience with foreign software and sparse support.

HTC Vive headsets are ancient hardware, all models are barely improved on the specs from 2018, only ever buy trackers from HTC

Windows Mixed Reality headsets are low spec and out of production except for the HP Reverb which is high spec but targeted at simfags

Base zombie mod is serviceable with a talent tree for gun unlocks and perks. As for mods you have the COD zombie one but there's only a few maps for it.

I recall that happening before in the past. It's understandable on weekdays since there's fuck all going on during the weekday. That said I feel that Tile Gun addressed this issue somewhat since it's spacious enough to allow for both parties coexist without being a bother to one-another.

On that note I feel like most big instances should be held at places with wide open spaces anyway. When everyone is crammed into a small room, hall, or area it tends to get really loud because of the high density of people in a small amount of space.

tilegun is not good as a mahjong map for that very reason. The charm of the parlors is they are cramped and small, being open incentivizes it being a hangout map when they shouldn't be. bigger map, more people not there for mahjong, slower games because overhearing non-players can be distracting, its little things that add up. like part of the fun is talking with others at your table or others, not so much with non-players. if tilegun was on a map that's small it wouldn't be so bad. i actually asked the dev if i could use his system for rinshan but he didn't want to one reason or another.
