Love your game. I had some issues with the tutorial, I'd recommend you put a checkpoint right after the initialization process so that we can keep on retrying to shoot the missiles and protect the hospital.
Also maybe I'm absolutely terrible but I had a very difficult time aiming with the right stick, it felt too sensitive for me to use. The movement stick felt just right in my opinion.

So i decided id take look inside my index controller. The pinky sensor has been gone for a while now and i wanted to figure out if it was repairable. You can see the hinge and clip are broken here.

Turns out the damage is too much for me to repair. The ribbon cable has been sheared a bit due to the grip panel moving up and down. I'd like to attempt a repair but i also want to play vr games. It still works with just the three two other fingers for gripping so i can just live with it :( maybe it would be possible to repair it with a microscope and more equipment, but at the same time it could lead to even more damage.

My recommendation is to electrical tape the grip panels so that the hinges cant break and it will keep it from ever shearing that cable. Even if your controllers are new, i'd do this. Get some good quality 3M electrical tape. My hands get sweaty fast, so every few months I have to replace the tape. For those who are wondering what the orange bits are, thats a 3d printed piece for the knuckle strap to attach to so it doesnt flop around.

What constitutes a rando is someone outside of the counterculture "culture" of 4chan. You do sometimes find people that "fit in" but there's a degree of autism or internet culture saviness that people kinda want to see. It's a type of humour, type of resilient mindset- most importantly people that are creative or selfless enough to take part in things bigger than themselves without asking for anything back.

Buy an airgun or whatever your local government deems not a weapon, and plink cans at 10 meters. As to what transfers, it's maybe 1/2 of the things since not having an actual stock or something to hold makes getting a reproducible grip that can withstand recoil not actually a thing, as well as video game recoil is much worse then an actual gun 99% of the time. However things like learning how to use and maintain a sight picture, learning to focus on the front sight instead of the target, general manual of arms for a gun like where the charging handle is and such, and how to reload properly and quickly carry over.

I have a question about VR headsets and weights.

My index always is hanging forward. It's putting a lot of pressure in places that cause headache.

How do I balance this out? I've owned the Valve Index for 3 years now and every single time I play any VR game or just VR chat I get mild migranes. The only time I don't is if I just push/pull on the back of the headset where you tighten it. The games also become in focus when I do this.

If I tighten the headset so it won't move the pain just gets worse.

Are you sure the headset is balancing around the top, where your top strap is? Because if it doesn't, then it becomes either front- or back-heavy.
So you need to tighten and untighten that top strap until the weight does indeed balance through there, I think.

liltoon uses UsePass very heavily which, as the tool implies, aren't supported by this part of the tool.

The only VR game I can think of that would have proper sense of progression is Into the Radius, and that's VRFPS, though arguably not in general understanding of the word. You may want to play through that, assuming you didn't yet.
