At it's climax everyone forms a circle in a very traditional "Pass the Parcel" system where Everyone else tries to help everyone find the gifts specially made for them.
Non-secret santa participants will be able to have a little token as well.

What is wrong with the way vrchat shows instances? It shows me only 4 instances. There's only one populated one. The rest have 2 or 1 people. There's 311 people in this world supposedly.

Anyone play with their trackers on their ankle rather than their foot or something? I use my hip-tracker on the side of my hip since it seems to track better that way compared to when I put it on front or back, so I was thinking of maybe trying the same with my feet trackers around my ankles instead.

Proshop used to sell them, and Komplett tried for a while but never got any stock.
Amazon.de has a few, and you'd get an actual warranty of some kind, but they're like €600.
Ones on Finn usually cost about the same.
Having a friend buy them from Valve and ship them to you would work, or just cross the border if you happen to be close. People have had mixed results with getting Valve to honor the warranty when doing this. Sometimes they'll allow it, other times they will only ship replacements to the same country they were bought in, or at least somewhere they officially ship to.

That's not how measuring performance works, if you're implying you would get 20% performance improvement not using it vs something like a native DP connection. In fact if you fuck up the runtime you can end up with worse.

Had a DPVR E4 for a bit, which uses a displayport cable, and it actually performed a few % worse than the Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop at the same resolution as the Quest 2. And it uses the same panel with a similar FoV.

It is the reason Alyx tends to stutter so much for wireless streaming.
It uses the dynamic resolution scaling, so it increases the rendering res when it sees that gpu utilization is only 80%, but the gpu can't do more work anymore, so it starts to drop frames.
But if your GPU is strong, it can just tank the max res scale and still have time for encode.

Kind of hard to see what it could be from this but I'm thinking it could be one of two things:

Render queue issue: if you have a transparent mesh on top of the mirror, for those crack/dust details, it could be causing that. Try using a different shader.

Culling issue A: the mirror is part of a larger mesh, and is incorrectly being detected as off screen because the other parts of the mesh are. Separate the mirror on to its own mesh if you can.

Culling issue B: the transparent mesh in front of the mirror is set to occluder static and is making the mirror mesh get occluded. Set the transparent mesh to not be occluder static.

Man fuck whoever recommended me this game. I just wish that VR devs weren't so low effort. Between the graphics/art being awful and all of the interactions being button presses I had to refund Ruins Magus. The story mostly happening mostly through cutscenes where you and other characters randomly teleport and vanish was bizarre. I wish that I had gotten that Sierra Squad game during the Steam sale instead. Hopefully it's discounted during the winter sale.

PC does all the work, Quest just serves as a fancy wired or wireless streaming device.
As powerful as the Quest 3 is, it's still only equivalent to PCVR circa 2016.
Nobody on PC is really interested in turning the clock back 8 years. and it's generally where most of the adults are.
Plenty of people get by just fine playing on potato PCs. Performance isn't necessarily going to be great, but standalone-vrchat performance is pretty terrible too, despite all its limitations.

Tested out steam link on Quest 3 and all I can say is good about it is that it's super easy to use.

Major issue is that even maxed out on all settings it still wont render above the resolution you see in the quest home. It's always blurry.

No need to stop using virtual desktop and it's years of refinement.
