I found the Quest3 to be insufferable. Between the shit per-eye fov ( and resulting tiny overlap and zero display margins to give you "110 fov" ), vignetting, and weirdly-shaped lenses cutting off even more of the image, it's a terrible experience unless you simply have nothing else to compare to.

All I wanted from the Quest3 was a Pico4 with Oculus software and a facial interface that fit my face.

I bought Assetto when it came out and used a PS3 controller at the time. It's very playable, especially nowadays, thanks to the mod scene and Content Manager making it easy for people to share their settings with like two clicks of the mouse. When my best friend invited me to try playing AC with his wheel and VR though, I immediately needed to get my own. I'll never play AC with a gamepad again. One of my friends is a cheapskate and plays using his keyboard though so that's also an option if you want to waste time messing with that - I tried that before hooking up the PS3 controller and hated it though. But that was like 2014 or something. Maybe mods help with that. There are people out there in racing leagues who are fast and don't use wheels, which isn't a surprise to me when you can go full lock in an instant if needed. Much easier to recover, just not a smooth experience (or realistic).

How do I stop getting friend requests from someone I blocked

I like VRFPS because I can actually tell what's going on. I played CS2 yesterday and had the team screaming at me because I couldn't see where the bomb is, couldn't see the enemy, couldn't see the awp they want on the ground over and over again. Basically anything I didn't expect to see was invisible to me. I don't know where it's the lack of 3D but it's like 95% of the image just my brain making up what part of the map is meant to be there.

I guess I would suggest you to get the Quest 3 since you already have a Q2 possibly with games on your account already. Pico 4 had free games, but also does Quest 3, yet this one will come with Asgard's Wrath 2 which is a new game, Pico 4 was giving away games that you probably owned already like Green Hell for example.

the only people that are actually rhythmically competent at making maps make full spread difficulties
every 1 / 2 difficulty map I've played, regardless of the difficulty, has been complete shit which seems really counter-intuitive

The game doesn't analyze the song, it only reads a partition file which considers different bpm for different sections of the chart to the charter's discretion.
It's the change in visuals that makes bpm changes difficult, it could also go the opposite way where the music have bpm changes but the chart doesn't, making it easier than if the chart acknowledges it. What you play is a chart associated to a song, not a song

BPM means beats per minute, which usually refers to a tempo, a speed of execution.
Even outside of rhythm games, you can consider rhythm and tempo outside of music, easiest example is your own heart *beat*ing right now
In the video I linked earlier you have changes in bpm for the chart from 159 to 318, so the tempo used to display the key patterns is changed giving a speed impression, then it changes from 318 to 79 with a different key pattern, both these examples have no tempo changes of the music. User actions don't change in switch to 318 but their impression of the chart will due to change in speed, impression + user action changes with change to 79

Finished Arizona Sunshine 2. They definitely rushed this out the door, it's far too buggy to be worth full price. On top of that, the level design seems worse than the first game, with copypasted areas. Fun on a basic level thanks to co-op and gore, but it still feels dated

Is it possible that the contrast is different on the screen for my right eye?
I'm using the Pico4 and I've noticed that when for example looking into a dark corner in a game, if I close my left eye then I see complete darkness in that corner, if I close my right eye then I see a bit of the corner, like when you bump up the contrast in a game or something. It's pretty noticeable in pitch black scenes, but the screens have no difference in brighter scenes.

I think the opening of everyone in VRChat watching Zuckerberg in Reality talk about the Metaverse is a beautiful cold open to illustrate the difference in perspective between the CEO of a megacorp and what the "boots on the ground" users and indies of the scene are seeing.

As a coffee table novel I could have to my parents or friends to explain to them "This is what VR is now and what it could be in the future," I think it fufills that need.

My headset no longer connects to my PC and support is offering me a replacement if I send it back.
Completely unrelated to the issue, there's a small crack and a piece of plastic missing from one corner of the headset and the original cable is damaged. Do you think they'll refuse to replace it once they see that?

Anyone have experience with Valheim VR? I'm severely CPU limited on my 12400f and getting like 20ms. The weird thing though is that the reprojection barely bothers me.
