I am looking for hosts for all timezones for a saturday in late december, currently leaning towards the 29th. just DM or email me with your timezone and VRChat username
We currently have one volunteer for NA but backup hosts is never a bad idea in case plans change.
The hosts can either go to the hub world and take everyone through the portals there which will be public portals (because as far as I know you can't put friends+portals in worlds) or I will send them a list of the worlds for them to favourite and drop friends+ portals to.

You're running out of time if you want to make a world. Try and get your worlds submitted a week before the 29th, and preferably submitted to labs to make it easier for hosts to drop portals to them

Trying to use Virtual Desktop to watch some 3D videos on my Quest 3, but every time I go into it and bring up the desktop it just starts flooding my PC with random inputs. The hate for the Quest 3 strap is severely overblown. I played for like 6 hours today and it felt great the whole time. Even the CV1 was uncomfortable to me after like 1 hour. The Q3 facial interface didn't even leave marks on my face like CV1 did. I stuck a 10k mah battery on the back to weigh it down though.

Some like the BOBOVR, other recommend the KIWI one more over it.
Imo both are good, BOBOVR has the battery plus, BUT since the XR2 gen2 consumes more power, the bobovr batteries output cant keep up entirely with the Q3, so even using those batteries, the Q3 will eventually shut down. I would say its better to wait until a better output bobovr battery gets released. Now if you have a 3d printer, you could print an adapter for making the rear more comfy, and some have external powerbank mounts, for the Q3 you will need a 20W output one to keep up with no problem.

We explored some dungeons and encountered something that crashed the server, and now it won't start, and I'm retarded so I don't know how to fix it. The battery power is basically exactly enough power to keep the Q3 completely even, it's perfect. The size and weight are also perfect. Tbh this is way better than any of the battery straps and it lasts way longer and it's cheaper. You could go with the 20k mah battery but I thought it would be too big and heavy.

Haven't tried it myself but Audica seems pretty solid
VRChat have a few rhythm games, like Resonark (which is MaiMai if it was good). Self plug but I also made a stepmania reader for vrchat a while ago, for ddr it's not ideal but for ParaParaParadise it works pretty well

I haven't tried the roguelike mode yet. I at the very least like that the roguelike stuff is second to the campaign. Too many VR games are ONLY roguelikes and get boring fast as a result. If other anons have trouble, I will lower the traffic density and reduce the amount of cars to help alleviate any performance problems (will require a server restart). I would suggest trying presets off videos on YouTube; most of them are focused on Nvidia users. But here is a wall of text of things you can try if you'd rather try to DIY it:

I got it from rookie, there's a cracked version on there. Also, the game lagged to shit when I boosted the resolution to 138% when in combat outdoors. It looked WAY better, though. I went back to base resolution because I didn't want to fuck with it more. It's surprising how little of the Q3's power it takes. I really have been enjoying my pico 4 pro desu. The eye tracking is awesome. Face tracking is garbage, I dont even bother using it, but the actual headset itself is great. How do you actually do things in H3VR? Every scenario I join its just an empty map with a couple of shitty targets, a gun spawner and thats it. No way of spawning enemies or if there are, its bland as fuck. Like the snowy map with bunkers, giant open spaces with the odd enemy miles apart from each other.

look at the map on your wrist, it shows you what direction supply stations and hold points are. more npcs spawn in patrols and hold rooms as you take more hold points. you have to slap the floating blue thing to start a hold.
pick one of the numbered 'seeds' on the menu at the start rather than random, random usually makes you run for miles to get to the next hold point.
also try return of the rottweiners and meat grinder.
some of the sandbox maps have an npc spawner too so you can place enemies then turn on ai and do whatever. grillhouse has one but i forget what other maps do

Why is Quest Pro audio so quiet whenever I use virtual desktop or steam link? It sounds loud enough when I'm just using it normally but even on 100 volume in windows on the VD/steam link virtual audio its pretty quiet.
