I've got a rig that I know can handle VR (AMD Ryzen 5600G CPU with IGPU disabled, RX6800 GPU, plenty of RAM), but I just refuse to install windows, and I don't want to splurge on a Index just yet, plus even if I do having a Quest 2 around to loan to friends so we can hang out in VR sounds fun.

It's fun but you'll get very sweaty when you're turning IRL with all the teleport fighting. Like other sweaty VR games 90 mins is around the limit for most people. The pub playerbase is alive because it's F2P but playing with randoms sucks when the skill and knowledge gap is high. One person can dominate the game in a new player lobby so they're usually level locked. Interest here died when it went paid then never revived when it went F2P. The limited map and gamemode pool gets repetitive even with a decent map and mutator voting system.

Look at the Star Festival event for example. It was 90% an outfit event, but having the user-submitted custom festival booths and the karate chop plates helped make it unique and memorable. Hell, just slap a sci-fi spaceship mesh on one of those Udon jetpack prefabs and let people zoom around the map.
