I can't remember exactly how it works, but I would presume the position does become disjointed if you try to force it. The hands themselves don't have boneworks physics though, so it doesn't feel weird. One mod did add that to the weapons so they lag behind the real position based on weight and it feels bad.

The Contractors way is better because you get immediate feedback if you're too close to an invisible collision box. Feels awful in Pavlov when the gun not shooting gets you killed.
Both have the problem of being able to put your hand through walls. Pavlov goes straight through but does have an area where you can't shoot if it's too close and Contractors you just have to push through with enough force until the physics resets to your hand position on the other side.

4hr first impression of Convergence VR: It's... interesting. Each new area is locked by the rep system which feels like it grinds progression to a practical halt (where the hell am I going to find lightbulbs...?), so you'd be going through mostly the 1st map for a few hours until you can get higher rep. 2nd map is hard and spooky unless you scrounged up enough either enough money to buy 2 mags of pp or get them off rebels, you can directly load bullets between mags and it has a bit of that H3VR physic janks so something to keep in mind when you're looting.

I'm torn on this. Not disappointed but my single player tarkov vr loot goblin itch is satisfied. Demon map you can kill most/all demons with pp at rep lvl2, it's just grindy getting pp ammo while being economical. Don't bring the dog. The initial scare factor is practically made so much easier with the UV stunlock. Otherwise going on this map without ppsh is near suicidal because starter revolver is laughable against them.

Bandits I'd just farm for pp ammo and speedreloaders by keeping the pp ammo box and storing looted ammo in main pp's mag then my 2 extra ones on chest. Any more mags I toss after getting its ammo since there's usually more pricey things to pick up. Next time I play I might go for another run in demon tunnels, seems you can get rarer and guaranteed you can walk out of there with a full backpack assuming you dedicate 2 slots to water bottle and ammo box. The tradeoff is getting bled dry with pp ammo grind. I'm already at 22k rubles this way after twice-ish in there, so it's not as much of a problem later on.

Only worthwhile upgrade is the backpack. Even on the 1st map ts easy to stuff it full assuming 2 slots to ammo/canteen. So get it early asap(7k? rubles)
