I impulse bought the not-Everybody Golf and I'm sorta split on it. On one hand, the core gameplay is fine and works well in VR and it is really just Everybody Golf VR sans the name. On the other hand, it really shows that this was probably initially flat game that probably got switched to VR target somewhere mid development. The menus and controls outsuide putting are very obviously just hastily adapted to VR. Still pretty good fun if you want arcade golf. Multiplayer works pretty well, too, and there's enough courses and shit to unlock to last you a while.

I've managed to get it running at 90 fps, WITH asynchronous spacewarp on. At high settings in Virtual Desktop. In game settings are mostly at ultra but I noticed that they barely make a difference. However, each setting in Virtual desktop adds or subtracts around 20 fps. DLSS supersampling also gives around 30 fps boost.

I have a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600 cpu. Here's me trying to land on a highway without knowing which button on the quest controllers are brakes.

There's an easy solution here, don't join haloboy instances. I like some of the haloboys but their messaging has been very clear: they don't consider themselves vrg, they don't like vrg as a concept, and some of them have been very clear on this final point: they prefer furries to "trannies".

On the headset I have (quest2) everything looks kind of pixelated and blurry but after upgrading my video card and cpu its started to look a little bettter than before. Q3 can decode more data and have better screen/lenses. But you'd need to be sure your computer can handle its resolution
QPro might be better also due to local dimming, while it have a lower res screen, it should have better colors

I'm kinda strapped for cash right now, so I'm not looking to buy the official Link cable from Meta - the 100 eurobucks is three times more than I can get away with on a third party cable, and when I do get an income again, I will be looking at selling the Quest 2 anyway, and replacing it with a Pimax - all I do is playing sims in PCVR anyway.

I've checked the manual, and wasn't able to learn much. As far as I understand, just because they are USB 3.2 gen 2 ports, doesn't necessarily mean they also support power delivery.
My USB C 3.2 2x2 however, I'm confident that it does, because its an advertised feature, and I've tested it and seen it to be working well.

Which cable would you recommend?
Mind you, I've went for a reputable store just so that I know I'll have an easy time refunding a cable if it doesn't meet specification - and I've never purchased a cable from them that hasn't been up to spec anyway.
