1) /vrg/ thread user (true-priority)
2) channer (asked to leave to make space if someone on the thread is asking to join and can't because full)
3) rando (asked to go on red and kicked if need map space)
In that order for map slot priority for any /vrg/ event or weekly meet placed here on the thread.

Note: Being disruptive in the instance will get kicked if no change after getting asked to tone it down. The higher you are in the priority list the more time and resources are gonna be used to make you calm down
Extra: If you are in a furry avatar, you will be asked to please change out of the avatar if someone in the instance is uncomfortable with fur

This way everyone is informed before hand of the rules and no one is left in the dark.
With the highest flexibility while still being a /vrg/ instance true and through.

It was a mistake to think regular and “trash” instances should be separated. I don’t agree with how things go in instances I thought weren’t considered trash, but that’s just my issue.

It’s best for me to take some distance from the VRChat portion of /vrg/ from now on (the main hangouts, not the friends I met here). I’ve talked to a few people about this, so some might know who wrote this. And if anyone wants to unfriend me over it or thinks it’s cringe, then it do be like that I guess.

for stylized clothing like the ones you put on anime video game characters it really is
look into sculpting workflows and VDM brushes
you can use 2D clothing drawing tutorials and references for 3D modelling stylized clothing, just take the concepts they teach you and apply it to modelling

but honestly that cloth setup you have there is a really good start
i would take that final simulation frame and bake it then go from there
there's some decent paid cloth workflow addons for blender that speed up the process by a lot and come with libraries of clothing templates and cloth sim presets ready to go

Yeah, that's my plan. I'm generating a general shape of the cloth with this cloth modifier, then I'll process it a bit, then I'll add details and firmer parts on top of that by hand one day. It's just funny how addicting cloth simulation is, I've spent last two days on repeatedly baking the simulation with various minor changes and I still didn't got enough of it.

right now i'm trying to learn how to constrain edges of clothes on top of a static mesh, and then i'll be able to add stiffer parts like shirt collar or sleeve as yet another cloth simulation on top of already cloth-simulated main mesh

You are not wrong, my first clothing item was also done in Blender Clothing sim. The monkey trap is that clothing sim is not a 1 click solution to make cloth. It just cuts out alot of box modelling and give you something to work with.
Use it but
1. Have as few subdivisions as you can get away with, it does not have to be amooth/perfect, that comes later.
2. Think of cloth sim as creating a rough base, that you will work on in edit mode later.
3. After baking, remove half of it and add a mirror modifier instead. Then smooth it, add loops etc until you are happy.

Atleast that was my workflow, now I just turn my original T shirt into whatever cloth I want with box modelling.
