Miggers

Pavlov is literally unplayable.
>start the game with Virtual Desktop
>uses VDXR by default
>the game doesn't recognize the controllers
>try starting it again but forcing SteamVR runtime
>performance is considerably bad and both head and hand movements are very shaky
>try again with Steam Link after restarting
>same issues

>>553712729
That is a (You) problem. Works fine on my machine.
My only problem is when I use OVR Toolkit, but when I air my controller at the windows, my gun drops. Everything else is fine.

after that, washizu mahjong. the gimmick here is that some of the tiles are transparent so you can see some of your opponents hand while playing. The map only has 1 table

DIssolved the edge towards wrist to get tris count down to 1550 tris.

i recently came into some money and it is taking an insane amount of willpower to not splurge on FBT or index controllers

>>553717521
I mean why not?

>>553716034
Can't wait!

>>553717521
Index controllers are nice but with the frame coming out realistically I don't think its worth it to buy them
FBT we have the magnet ones coming out at the end of the year if all goes according to keikaku, but honestly if you have lighthouses already i'd say fuck it just get some trackers, but if you dont have lighthouses then its very questionable if it would be worth or not if you're capable of sucking it up for a year and spending it on the new trackers instead

>>553717561
i use something until it breaks. there's no good reason to get rid of my quest 2 setup while it still functions

also please delete 1,5k nade :)

gg'ies

i'm enjoying the game less and less

>>553718595
I don't go B anymore due to skibidi enabling.

I found out why there sometimes is a black screen when changing maps on Forefront with no way out of it, making you have to close the game through SteamVR.
It's the server closed dialog, just really far away.

gud blubllin' blubblers :D:D:D I really like that last map whatever it's called.

>>553717879
magnet ones? do the frame controllers have any sort of finger tracking themselves?

>>553718595
shut up C go play counter strike if you don't like it

>>553719218
the magnet trackers are the fluxpose that are slated to release q4 of this year if we're lucky and they seem to be a giga gamechanger, dont need basestations and can work better and more conveniently than any other tracker out there supposedly
i think the frame controllers may have finger tracking but as someone whos had it and just now exclusively uses my quest pro controllers its questionably worth it since youll also need basestations to use index controllers
it may be like $800 or so to get the controllers and base stations which at that point you might as well just get a quest pro or something
there are other FBT solutions that dont require basestations for now but theyre all pretty mid at the moment

Dungeons of eternity code vrg

>>553718595
I used to care but my CPU frametimes on this map at 20+ players are so bad that anything which could get this map voteskipped or removed from the pool is a good thing.

>>553718595
I feel like that skibidi place is fine since you put yourself on a silver plate up there and usually everyone gets mauled coming over that hill

>>553719218
Frame controllers track the fingers. They also have a strap which lets you let go of the controller.

>>553719579
Yeah I'd rather remove the map because it's laggy (it's laggy) than some mediocre extra routes into a bomb site

It's good flashy combat action game with fun movement and decent combo options in mostly linear levels but it IS meant for Deadpool fans - if you hate the character you will hate the game instantly, if you don't care about the character it's play once on weekend afternoon and forget it exists deal.
TL;DR - it's good and reasonably fun but only if you like Deadpool

>>553753153
Right now? Finger tracking is either Index Knuckles, meme gloves, or camera based hand tracking; eye tracking is Quest Pro, Galaxy XR, one the PfDs that I forget the name of, and some of the Pimax as well; FBT is either Vive Trackers, Slimes, or various other midpoints between those like the Vive Ultimate Trackers which don't need a lighthouse. Absolute cheapest option would probably be a QPro with hand tracking, which is terribly jank, and a set of Slimes.

:: /vrg/ Vault 2025 | January 31, 2026 ::
Take your time to look at your screenshot folder of 2025 and reminisce through your memories with friends and anons alike. Submit your favorite memories of 2025 in VR! It can be pictures, videos or items - so if you have some spare moments this weekend, get through your screenshot folder and send them in!
Up to 3 happy memories per month so let's go down memory lane together anon. (soft rule)

To make things easier, it would be great if the pictures are named or sorted accordingly (with the month/date in the filename), for your convenience there is even a .rar with a pre-organized folder structure available for download:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/l9nyizc9ca3kqlb/vrg+vault+2024.rar/file

The files can be sent via
e-mail: vrgvault@gmail.com
Discord: vrgvault
or just reply to this post with a link to your uploaded image folder.

ANYTHING GOES: Keep in mind that even though the vast majority of photos and screenshots will probably be from within VRChat, you can also share remarkable images from other games - it just has to be /vrg/-related, i.e. games or explorations coordinated in the thread.

FOR ITEMS: send the mesh (no udon please unless you know what you are doing, cause there won't be time to fix it, it will just be shoved into the LOD slot)
Any item that you want to place in the /vrg/ vault 2025 is welcome!

FOR VIDEOS: Just the youtube or any link to it would be good, we'll chuck it into the video player in the map.

FOR WORLDS: Send the wrld_id of something you made this year

Important Dates:
Jan 24 - Final day of submission
Jan 28 - Late submission (non-optimal spots in the map)
Jan 31- /vrg/ VAULT Exhibition

hope there's a better map this time. last one was terrible. not sure what was wrong with just having individual corridors.

>>553758490
The idea was to make sure no one is alone. The middle ground solution this time is 5 wings with 3 Rooms each. Each wing loops back to the center with the comfy area.

>>553743810

There’s multiple solutions I can think of including syncing via clickable tracked month on top of head so you know what month someone is.

If you recall on the halloween event you can see player’s candy count over their head. This can be done here so you can easily swap over to their month via the menu as usual

The SOS Brigade from the Haruhi Suzumiya series is a mysterious club founded when Haruhi Suzumiya, who constantly seeks the extraordinary, drags an ordinary high school boy, Kyon, into her plans.

Their mission: to search for aliens, time travelers, and espers, and to uncover the mysteries of the world.

This time, they’re bringing you a special, one-of-a-kind stage performance!

Meanwhile
>On New Year's Eve, nearly 150,000 people spent the holiday in VRChat worlds, a majority of them in headset while setting a concurrent user record as the calendar changed from 2025 to 2026 across the United States.

>The alien's arrival in Gorilla Tag was preceded by a long build-up of lore that kicked off with the sighting of a green dot visible to everyone in the sky. According to Another Axiom, more than 110,000 people put on their headsets at the same time

Every year the records are higher and higher. But also interestingly, Gorilla Tag is slighly smaller population wise than VRChat but is insanely profitable.

>>553789467
Gorilla Tag playerbase is fragmented by all the knockoffs and things like Animal Company. And Orion Drift also cannibalised part of Axiom's own customers. If anything it's surprising it still maintains such high player count.

>>553789467
Gorilla tag nailed the movement so well, it is one of the better VR games, no joke, just moving around is a game, and that you can move so different from a human, amazing.
VRChat is terminally online millenial second life.
I don't think VR is reclining, more people are opening their eyes to VR and how to use/spend time in VR, socialization and the next social platform is what VRC nailed.

Be real with me anons:
How much of a hassle would it be to get my Quest 3 running with virtual desktop/steam link on Linux?
Never used Linux before but might as well make the jump since Windows is shitting itself.

>>553802745

Seriously just have a dedicated windows cuck machine just for VR.

>>553802745
>running with virtual desktop/steam link on Linux?
ignore both of those as VD isn't on Linux and Steam Link on Linux is barely functional
ALVR would be the SteamVR equivalent but:
you'd want to use WiVRn since that uses Monado
SteamVR on Linux is still unfixed dogshit thanks to Valve

>>553802745

Quest games sell fine, so I assume they're making money off of it as a platform just like any other console. The Quest 4 rumors include a plan to jack up the headset prices up instead of basically selling them at cost, so they'll make money off that too.
What you should really be worried about is that even on a VR platform with good sales numbers, you can't make enough off high budget VR games to justify keeping the studios around.

>>553900542
We were already reclining HARD. Meta pulling out is just a sign that meta gave up on trying to kill VR.
The entire meta and VR process was they injected the entire hobby with unsustainably low cost hardware to peddle their undesirable corposlop, so when people grab the hardware and put it on, there's only undesirable corposlop or VRC faggotry to do. Meta leaving the space is good in the long term. The short term is going to be cold though. It's going to be EXTRA cold thanks to altman destroying the availability of GPUs and RAM though. Like oh just don't use a PCVR, right? Standalone headsets can't get RAM either.

Ultra didn't sell well even in China so 5 is pretty unlikely to happen, they'll probably make Samsung clone with price to match.

>>553903738
When facebook took over oculus most were cautious about it (at least) because they were just going to do exactly what they ended up doing

In 2026, the Steam Frame has
> an SoC that is a mobile chip from 2023
> same optics as the Quest Pro from 2022
> same displays as the Quest 3 from 2023
> low res monochrome passthrough like the Quest 2 from 2021
> no hand tracking like the Quest Go from 2017
At a most likely higher price tag than the Quest 3, the Steam Frame is not indicative of anything other than Valve's regressive approach to VR hardware and PCVR in general, a complete and utter disappointment of a device IMO

>>553903945
Toilet chan you are the public face attached to poorfag cope in /vrg/
The Steam Frame will be better then the Quest 3.

>>553903945
They said this shit about the index too. Fact is, while the technical specs will be behind the times, the actual polish and use of them will be excellent, so much so that other headsets trying higher numbers just seem like fuckups in comparison.

>>553903945
And 90% of computer users have computers as old or older than those years you mentioned.
Steam Frame is the People's Champion headset.
If you are rich, get the Galaxy XR.
If you are a normal person, 2160x2160 is pretty much all your computer is gonna be able to run in VR.
Not to mention all the improvements to streaming, comfort. etc. etc. compared to Quest 3

>>553903945
>passthrough passthrough passthrough
I still fail to understand why people care. Is anyone even using it?
>i'm using it for my mixed reality masturbator
I can respect that, but i mean normal anons. (You), an average Q3 owner, do you even use passthrough? Do you care about having colors in there? I swear, every single person in the world is crying about frame passthrough as if it was the biggest system-breaking downside, and I just really cannot see the problem as long as it's functional enough to walk around.

>>553906227
Personally I am greatly enjoying people shitting on the specs because it means demand will be lower. What's holding it up at the moment is the tariff situation, and with the supreme court refusing to make a judgement AND not saying when they will, this shit might never come out.

>>553906227
Passthrough is pretty essential to me as I have a cat and a girlfriend (3D female). Without colors it would be awkward to use me thinks

>>553907161
Did you know that it is actually possible to see in monochrome?
If it works for MILITARY NIGHTVISION it will work for you.

>>553907161
I mean, you'll most likely be able to differentiate between environment, a girlfriend, and a cat even without colors, though depends on kind of a cat and kind of a girlfriend you have. I dunno, I just really can't understand why monochrome is such a popular mention for a downside, given it lets you navigate around just as well as color.

>>553907224
>>553907294
Yeah and people used black&white TVs for decades. It's not normal to go back after color screens were invented. It just feels really, really outdated

If you're ok with buying handcrafted 6000 dollar 5090 from dwindling stocks then yeah.

Bradley (lol) recently hinted that valve had contractors working on a 2D-3D translation layer for flat games (giving them added depth) for release at a later date and that it would likely release with a colour pass through module for the frame

No, they're still making those. Infact they restarted production of 3060s, they'll be reasonably 'normal' price. Anything from the 4k or 5k series will not exist. People that have them won't want to sell them because there's no way to get a new one. Scalpers will run out of stock pretty quickly once they're the only stock available. And then that's it.

Isn't one of the main selling points of the frame that you play flat games with passthrough enabled? Obviously should've had colour passthrough compared to the monochrome usecase of mainly VR games but occasionally I have to find something in passthrough or be told I'm close to a wall.

How much vram is recommended nowadays?

>>553910735
Minimum 16GB for VR activities. You can get away with less but it is not recommended, since you will be actively changing rendering settings to stay under your limited amounts.
You missed it anyway. Too late. Whatever you have now is your last GPU.

>>553920483
You want high resolution screens for rradable overlays and to be able to push clarity when game is optimized enough. Also foveated rendering allows you to have VERY SHARP small area with low resolution periphery.

>>553920771
>Also foveated rendering
I'm definitely a big fan of this being the future. Compute prices skyrocketed so even like $100 of extra eyetracking or whatever per headset is competely worth it. The extra effort to add foveated rendering pipelines too. I can only hope that VR is alive enough still that devs put foveated rendering into their engines.

>>553920771

poker!!!

>>553920945
unfortunately this actually leaves their animator controllers still running. Unoptimized will still eat your CPU. A good filter is download size. Just don't show anything over 80MB. And even that's generous.

>>553920895
Protip, many recent unreal engine releases support quad views foveated rendering without even knowing about it. It was added to openxr standard and latest unreal implements it. Behemoth, Metro, Of Lies And Rain, Pavlov, Vail support it. It saves a lot of vram and compute, when you start pushing high resolutions(and set periphery to be low)

But due to devs being oblivious, they don't twst it and can also break it unexpectedly. WRC has black rectangle instead of focus area in dx11 mode, and just doesnt run in dx12. Some games have it broken in dx12 mode, but work perfectly in dx11.

If Valve would implement it in their runtime, it would uncover a big can of worms honestly, but reading the Frame docs they only seem to implement variable shading rate foveation extensions and not quad views. I dont think any game on PC supports that, but a lot of Quest builds do.

>>553921192

Made changes to try and disable animators on avatars worn by other players that are currently distance hidden.

This change aims to boost performance in very busy instances so you can have more avatars visible at once before VRChat starts dropping frames.
Added a new IsAnimatorEnabled animator parameter that gets set to false one frame before the avatar's animator is disabled, and then set to true again as it is re-enabled. This can be used by complex animator states that need to respond to the animator being turned on and off

Chat, I got a question.

I'm anxious to try VR and want as reasonable a price as possible. (I am also mainly interested in running standalone applications for my usecase, though I may spend for PCVR if necessary.)

So.

Do you think I should wait for the Steam Frame or get an used Q2/Q3S? I don't know if I'll be able to tolerate Meta's BS, I went looking and read about how much they're enshittifying the OS, also random AI™ powered banwaves and who knows if they decide to run planned obsolescence on them sooner than later. Also how poorly they take to heavy usage with the controllers easily breaking and shit.

I kinda think that the Quest goggles could eventually be jailbroken and even run a fan port of Steam Frame's OS at some point. But I am not sure if I want to count on that.

It's an uncertain time for standalone VR.

>>553921770
> Tweaked ragdolls, now blasting further away when killed by defibs

>>553923905
I'd wait for the frame. It should be reasonably close now, but valve close is fucked. Quest 3 (used especially) isn't going anywhere soon though.

>>553923905
get a used q2/q3 (or pico 4 if you can), steam frame will most likely be around 1k and won't have a dedicated standalone store

>>553924126
If I go down this route, I really hope they'll release in H1. I'll be cooked otherwise. Wdym "valve close is fucked"?
Yeah Q3 is gonna stick around to be fair.

>>553924478
>pico 4

>most likely be around 1k
Fuck. Weren't they saying how it'd cost less than the Deck? Maybe "adjusted for inflation" lol
>and won't have a dedicated standalone store
How is anything standalone gonna run on the Frame? Do you think it'll be a fiddly fan porting effort situation (from Quest APKs to Frame), like the Pinephone or other Pine products? Are Steam ARM apps not happening? But they did say they'd do those things...

>>553925006
If you are interested in standalone games. The quest library is the biggest, but also sideloading requires humiliation rituals and is ass. Pico 4 has pretty open os, you can just install any apk by just clicking on it in the headset filebrowser or even install amazon/aurora appstore, bug still no google play services. Frame will most likely be completely open linux install with built in android emulator.

>>553925006
>Weren't they saying how it'd cost less than the Deck?
Nope, they said they were aiming to cheaper than index at release, which was around 1k for the full kit.
But with the current situation, it's unlikely they can make it much cheaper
>How is anything standalone gonna run on the Frame? Do you think it'll be a fiddly fan porting effort situation (from Quest APKs to Frame), like the Pinephone or other Pine products?
So far it seems like games can run either through the FEX translation layer (think an equivalent of wine/proton), or devs can have an ARM version of their app on the steam store.
The thing is, if you are interested in standalone vr apps it will take time before devs port over their work. Whereas quest basically have everything at the moment (it's possible to install most quest apps on pico through this tool https://github.com/ovrport/app ).
Steam Frame mostly have features targetted towards PCVR streaming or non-VR standalone apps

Hello, today at 19:00CET (2h from now) I will host a "YosaVR" dancing session.
>What is YosaVR to begin with?
"YosaVR" is the combination of "Yosakoi" and VR. Yosakoi is a (modern) japanese folk dance style, which often relies on using accessories.
With "YosaVR", we aim to actively learn dance routines; first we'll learn some actual yosakoi routines, but I'm planning to eventually mix it with other types of dances/songs later on.
>What does it looks like?
Here are some videos from when I was training it back in May:
Easy song: https://streamable.com/0wxl7i
Mid song: https://streamable.com/91lp9t
Difficult one (no video editing): https://streamable.com/4b02tr
>What to know? How will we train?
When I tried to host it earlier this year, I made this document:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1m6DHeP7rt538M18IdRz6fAGeD_hIQvGJgBc7CtrWpTo/edit?usp=sharing
Even if some infos might be outdated now, if you are interested in the project I recommend you to read it still.
This time I'll try to also host it regularly on Thursdays while keeping the "dojo format". In my opinion it is much harder than both PyPy or ParaPara, so if you want to become good at it, you will most likely need to train outside of the regular Thursday instances.
>What to expect for today?
Same as last week!
This time we'll keep on seeing the moves of "Power": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tpwyBEhPeE
Then if we have time, we'll keep the training on "Street of the Soran" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBND5Ftn2bA
Please note that dancing is an intense physical activity, so there will be a bit of warmup/stretching before we start, if you join late I strongly advise you take a few minutes warming up before starting to dance.
Sessions are open to everyone, pro and beginner alike! If you are curious to either watch or dance just join

Yea. Hope I'm not asking for much- do you have any resources about how to go about this? I know like, ADB and stuff, is it more complicated than just the regular AOSP route to remote app installs?

Oh shit I did not know that about the Pico. Kinda makes it a no brainer among the current standalone options imo, I can live without the better visuals/audio if it gives back some freedom.

Would you pay $500 for a Pico 4? Should I look more closely?

>bug still no google play services

Oh yeah sorry, I forgot the Index went down in price.
>But with the current situation, it's unlikely they can make it much cheaper
:(
I was thinking they'd maybe do $800, or $750. Perhaps even $600. $600 would still be paying for itself through the hardware's open nature.
>But with the current situation, it's unlikely they can make it much cheaper
So unfortunate, seriously.

But feasibly, this very same tool could be adapted for the Frame, no?
>Steam Frame mostly have features targetted towards PCVR streaming or non-VR standalone apps
True. I'm just trying to push it and trailblaze a little

>>553926032
It's $200 a pop at the moment where I'm at. Seems relatively ok compared to ebay prices i think. Maybe I don't lose much toying around with it and just selling it if I'm not satisfied.

Shut the fuck up carl

>>553926842
Keep in mind that the frame can sideload quest games. And sideloading, since it's an open platform, will be extremely simple. You can probably just scp them on.

>>553927223
If it's quest games, it will probably use an android translation layer. I heard they were going with Waydroid but don't quote me on that. So perhaps it'd be like, you run the old "adb install" but on the machine itself or through adb TCP. Who knows if they'll make it more straightforward though

>>553926842
Visuals/audio are on par on quest 3 and pico 4. Another nice addition of pico, is their very cheap pico body trackers. They are integrated with pico os, and have ir emitters sonthey can be fully 6dof tracked just like controllers. In body tracking mode they use mostly IMU with occasional drift correction when you look down.
Best is to buy a pico from a local retailer. They sometimes, rarely have QA issues with lenses or screen calibrations, local retailer will most likely just replace it, but temu/aliexpress/newegg might not want to refund

>>553926842
>But feasibly, this very same tool could be adapted for the Frame, no?
It could definitely, but will it and after how much time?
If you are interested in getting into VR we don't know when the headset will be released, let alone if devs are willing to do stuff with it.
Regarding standalone (since that's what you are the most interested in), there's apps the steam frame will never be able to have simply because it doesn't have color passthrough or hand tracking

>>553929105
The tool patches oculus api to OpenXR, it should create apks which run on most android openxr enviroments, so Frame will most likely work.

>>553929105
>color passthrough or hand tracking
They're planning a color passthrough camera addon rumor says; plus hand tracking is a software issue so that can come eventually anyway if you really want it because you're retarded

>>553926023

That's very fair. And I am interested in an ASAP sort of way.

No hand tracking sucks. Maybe it could get it down the line through software computer vision using the existing cameras, though? No idea how reliable it would be.

>>553929445

>>553929676
>Do you know if they've been made to work on other platforms?
Apparently its just bt low energy with IMU data service, someone COULD write a driver for slime server which would make them universal. But as it stands now pico trackers only work with pico headsets. Besides, the reason they work so well is picos custom proprietary IR tracking and human pose estimation software which is built in to Pico OS. Without it they'd would be as bad as any opensource slime tracker.

>>553929676
Btw if you need glasses for far vision/drivig you will need to use contacts/glasses, or order insert lenses for your headset of choice. There is highly reputable vr-optician which makes these lenses, or if you want cheap but still decent, chinese on aliexpress sell hmd inserts which are premade for different spherical correction (super cheap) or can make a custom prescription ones. I dunno about other headsets but Pico 4 has built in magnets around the lenses, and insert makers use that for easy snap in lens insert installation.

>>553930351
>Apparently its just bt low energy with IMU data service, someone COULD write a driver for slime server which would make them universal.
It is partly but not really, they have some of the same diodes you have in controllers in order to recalibrate when you look at them with the headset. I also believe they work due to machine learning built on custom datasets, it wouldn't work well with other vr systems even if it gets ported.

>>553929676
Maybe it could get it down the line through software computer vision using the existing cameras, though?
It could, but again: will it? The index have a port for accessories at the front of the headset, it never had any uses.

Be careful.

>>553949718
yes. philosophical rant spam aside, that guy was genuinely one of the dumbest fucking people ever, in addition to having to insert his opinion on every subject matter. he also usually gets kicked from every VR instance he appears in, despite almost never getting on VR, because of how much people were sick of his shit in the thread.
i still remember when Z got arrested by the feds last year for school shooting threats and it got leaked here, there was a picture of a SWAT vehicle. carl, in his infinite wisdom, began to go on a multi-post rant about how evil the government is for raiding Z's house just because he owned a SWAT vehicle.

fucking idiot couldn't even connect the dots.

It would be cool if the tanks had all the autistic turret elevation and traverse controls (and a separate driver), instead of just the videogamey 3rd-person view.

>>553952143
Most of the vehicle controls are placeholders if I remember correctly.

holy shit, the amount of attention whores in this general with their shitty "heckin hot takes"

Fun map

>>553952461
If they ever make tank immersive like in that webm they need to either buff their armor or increase their spawn rate because it will be much harder to land a shot.
I wish there were more vehicles in general, as in more vehicle slots, along with increased player counts.

They would make it that complex. I would expect something like an internal view with a screen that aims the cannon where you are looking on it, the left stick controls the hull, and the right rotates the turret. Similar to Vox Machinae, but without the joysticks.

>>553954494
*wouldn't

>>553941749
Could be if it's similar to the steamdeck release. Plaster the store with price and date announcement for frame, gabecube and controller and let people preregister for when it releases late March.

Reducing the opacity also makes the enemy markers above their heads less visible, two steps forward and one step back.
And the changes to parachuting are gonna make dropping from helis and jumping down the helipad from second stage rush on desert map very interesting.

>>553956219
The parachute changes already killed me multiple times.

It's not a missed opportunity because universal foveated rendering is an impossibility and can never be implemented.
Foveated rendering requires cooperation from the game developer.
Pimax has tried to develop a more broad foveated rendering but it only works for very specific games that run on very specific engines.
Their foveated rendering does not work if the game uses OpenXR, Vulkan, Direct3D 12, has anti-cheat, or has an otherwise incompatible rendering method.

>>553956709
Sad but true. And individual VR devs are incompetent/lazy. At least MS Flight Sim will run better as despite 2024's issues they at least gave a fuck about improving VR.

It isn't treated as such. The majority do the exact same thing every time in VRchat and reject any variation, which is more analogous to Rush than Conquest.

Pretty neat but man the grind to unlock everything is a bit of a pain. It's done on your highest number of days survived rather than any xp system. Now that I know I'm in the storm act I've gotta get back into it and actually find a cave to shack up in.

>>553968657

Has the performance improved much?
I refunded it on release but I'm glad they didn't give up on the game because it has some interesting ideas.

>>553970320
>performance
Maybe? I've upgraded my computer since I last played but I think it might have. Also apparently you can only hurt enemies with rocks or the gun or knives. I think flaming sticks might work but I tend to just throw them so I can get a better shot with the gun. There really is something about just seeing eyes in the darkness running around you.

>>553984524
You can make a cute girl but these motherfuckers are an absolute bitch to optimize (atleast in my case as a blenderlet)
Also people don’t care for the clothes being mostly completely flat textures

>>553960416
Vroid is mainly good for hair creation. But yes it is very good at it specially if you come from a 2D drawing background

The clothes kinda suck since they're mostly flat. The body is fine though and is a good enough base to start dressing if you want but at that point just use a booth model

>>553760961
nigger this is an event is not the "game" the event is the social interaction of looking at old photos with your friends.

maybe you're too autistic to understand social interaction, but when you look at a frame, and your friend laughs, you make a comment and they say "oh no im on march still" it kills that entirely.

We've done this shit multiple times before. And we used to do it the legit way. I dont understand why you felt the need to reinvent the wheel.

you seem to imply that this is a hybrid of the old way and the retarded new one noone likes. WHY bother. Either do one or do the other, this pleases noone except for you and your autistic obsession with HAVING to have some sort of "gimmick" in maps.

>>553986145

>friend laughs
>you see month on their head
>you swap to their month
>you now laugh together
>all while keeping everyone close together and not split up into pockets of 1-2 people over the 15 month rooms with 125 pictures each room
There's an argument to be had here

My obsession is not any specific "gimmick" but the desire to make sure no one feels left alone

Do I need the golf DLC for walkabout golf?

>>553986905
just get some paypig to join or join the lobbies here. someone always has the dlc.

>>553986559
>you see month on their head
>you swap to their month
easily fixed by just cutting the middle man out entirely.
>all while keeping everyone close together and not split up into pockets of 1-2 people over the 15 month rooms with 125 pictures each room
add a "teleport to your friends" option. I genuinely dont see the issue.

it's a gallery map. it comes with the territory. otherwise why bother making a gallery. just make a slideshow and have everyone in one room.

there is *also* an argument to be made that having multiple wings is better for performance, as it allows for occlusion. (if set up properly) vs having everyone in one single room but instanced. you save on physical space, but at the cost of having everyone in one place, which is not great for performance.

hey remember when friday/saturday nights it would get really laggy and so we would go to a box, or some other empty ""optimized"" map and then wonder why frames didnt get better when you now had everybody in the same room

I remember.

>>553986559
>all while keeping everyone close together and not split up into pockets of 1-2 people over the 15 month rooms with 125 pictures each room

Oh, boy! I love having to set my earmuffs to a .3 meter radius and having to hump my friends so I can hear them above the alcoholics screaming. It would be just terrible if I could be in a different area and not have to do this, but I guess that would be against the SOS brigade motto of doing things the stupidest ways possible. After all, who cares about the months between where I am and my friend was, being forced to rewatch the entire thing to see everything is so much more fun then being able to just walk back to where they're waiting.

>>553987202
holy shit this so much

>>553986905
Nah, as long as anyone in the lobby has the DLC, the lobby can play the course. If you really want the extra balls and clubs or wanna play it on your own, you can always pick it up later.

>>553986905
They have negative levels of anticheat, you can just creamAPI yourself the DLC if you want or download the Quest APK with everything unlocked and still go online with it. Only problem with pirating the Quest version is the update is always released on the following day for Rookie and Thursday is patch day for them for some reason.

>>553986905
only the host needs the dlc for everyone to play.
go into your setting and turn on "grip to putt".
point your club vertically up and push forward on the stick to fly around.
that's about it
