Is there a practical limit on how many VRCObjectSyncs you can teleport at once?
I'm trying to debug a bug where when I shuffle and reposition all of the tiles, there is always between 10-12 that don't appear where I want them to.
My current guess is that if I try to teleport too many objects in the same frame, some of them will simply not update.

When I was autistically making an udon mahjong system 5 yrs ago, I had the same issue. I worked around it with a kind of cool bitpacking codec that fit all the tile updates into 140byte continuously synced strings (which was the best you could do at the time). Thanks again to everyone joining us on Friday for game hopping. Seems like the event was pretty successful so I'll probably be hosting it again next week. A bit worried it overlaps too much with FridayFPS and the hangout event (If it happens at all) but hopefully it'll be fine
Structure is still probably a bit WiP and probably best to stay pretty free form about the whole thing. I do want the starting map to be something fast and relaxing to gather people up and to end it with a social game like audience anarchy as yesterday.

Not so long ago I would say this as a meme shitpost but after what happened to RVRF I'm not so sure anymore...

After reading the upcoming changes, I have some thoughts.

1) A $1 increase for buying courses is too modest imo. A round of 18-holes at a local mini-golf center is $10 + tax. Your courses are replayable (for free), offer easter egg hunts, golf clubs, avatars, and allow for 2 users to play the same purchase (shared apps across headsets). Doubling the price is fair.

2) Additional modes (chess, slingshots, etc) should be taken out of courses and placed in the lobby for simplicity. Having chess in 4 different courses adds to complexity and doesn't add any real value to the course itself. Putting them in the lobby increases overall game appeal and accessibility for users who buy the base game.

3) Ads. As a gamer I hate to even say this, and perhaps there are limitations through Meta, but I would whole heartedly support ads placed on the driving range, at the starter house, and even neatly tucked into some of the courses.

Wasn't planning on always hosting the same games, the plan was more to be kind of exploration for game instances to find something fun. In the case that people really like some world wouldn't mind doing a repeat. For now there's plenty of worlds still left to be played and for now my backlog could last about 2 months without repeats so think we're fine on variety.
