We'll explore some of the sports and games maps that VRC has to offer, with a plethora including but not limited to: Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Boxing, Cycling, Darts, Fencing, Rollerskating, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball
Afterwards you can get your healthy drink on of, veggie smoothies, protein shakes or herbal teas (not that we'll know what's in your cup on your end) as we check out some gyms and health and wellness places to cool down and stretch off.
As always if you have a map you want to suggest we go visit please let me know by replying to this post or just sharing them in the thread, I'll see them. Currently sorting through the maps: basketball works well, the table tennis is a bit funny especially when you play on the pickleball sized field, and the disc golf is goofy in a good way.

What is this?
A celebration of anon’s varied groups and activities.
For one day /vrg/ turns into a full blown school festival, with rooms, booths, attractions and little corners of chaos all hosted by the different groups and friend circles around the community.
Come wander the grounds and visit what anons have cooked up.
Games, exhibits, hangouts, performances, themed rooms, comfy spots, weird ideas, good ideas, dumb ideas made real.
The whole point is to let every part of /vrg/ show its face and make something fun for everyone else to enjoy.
If you’ve ever wanted to host something, decorate a room, run a booth, make a club attraction, show off your group’s gimmick or just contribute to the general festival atmosphere, this is the event for it.
Big or tiny projects, polished or scuffed projects, they all have a place in a school festival.
This is both a social event and a showcase.
A chance to see what all the different corners of /vrg/ are up to, meet people you don’t normally bump into and enjoy an entire map full of anon-made activities all in one place.
Specially if you are currently or have hosted weekly/monthly/occassional events before and currently!
COME AND SHILL, Grow your club, Entice another anon to try what you love doing!

I set my room to a giant warehouse sized circle and it's been that since I set it. I can't set it smaller, and I play stationary.
It's not that bad though because I play stationary I don't need to risk hitting things.
So far my quest 3s has had no issues connecting to PC. No OS level blockages, just bad cable connections and sometimes the overlay forces you into a white void instead of transparent with steam VR. But restarting meta horizons works.

I think you guys are whitewashing history way too much. Everything seems fine and bright in retrospectives but people just gloss over the horrible VR rape culture that there was for so long.
It wasn't widely talked about but nearly every single weekend we had multiple cases of VR assault and rape occurring. There was not a single instance between 2017-2021 that didn't leave at least one traumatized victim behind.
The official numbers say that there was never a problem but that was because VR rape survivors were discouraged from filing reports and shunned if they did. People were being horribly violated and instead of getting support and solidarity from the community they were told "buck up" and "cheers kippis kanpai".
I like to think we've all gotten better about calling out VR rape when we see it and exposing the predators among us but I know that there are at least a few disgusting rapists around who have evaded justice and will not hesitate to strike again once things cool down.

They bungled it so badly by not letting you modify the avatars you purchase. Even normies aren't going to want to pay for the same avatar over and over just with different outfits. This isn't like a gacha game where that's actually a viable strategy.

Why not make the modifications in-game? Like, you buy an avatar and a compatible outfit from the store, then the devs develop a program to go to Unity, press "Setup Outfit" in MA (or their own version of such a thing) and then upload it for you.
Maybe even add something to modify the textures.

Since selling avatars has gone nowhere, they're better off focusing on creating a marketplace for spawnable props and accessories as soon as possible. Sure people can just go into unity or blender and add toggles to their avatar but it's much easier to justify purchasing a microtransaction when the cost is low to start with, it requires no effort and it works on all your avatars. Not being able to edit your purchased props and accessories isn't a big deal compared to avatars.
