The recent /vrg/ School Festival Map has 50+ "video players" with their own playlist and you can even override them with your own url independently.
Here's the kicker, only one video player is actually in that world.

I only filter for if they are a 4channer or not.
There is a threshold though if the instance starts to have 5-10% desktopper population, I will start kicking them in the order of most based desktopper (moderator cat) to least based desktopper (rando streamer desktopper)
Kicking least based first until the 5-10% threshold is restored

I think this is a good compromise that allows some desktopper flexibility while still keeping the VR enthusiast feel of instances.
