How should I edit the weights to stop this from happening

Someone tell me the best methods for maximizing gesture overrides, I want to become as expressive as possible with a single avatar.

I am considering quitting VRChat. When I found out about it last year, it seemed like the greatest thing I had ever seen. I couldn't wait to get VR. After actually trying it, I found I had social problems far worse even than reality, but I thought if I could just overcome those, I'd be able to experience what I first saw. After several months, I've made some progress, but I don't enjoy it. I'm constantly consumed by thoughts of social failure, a desire to just close the game, and of the time I'm sacrificing to feel like this. I don't seem to connect with others beyond a very initial stage which has been the same all of my life. I don't know if I fundamentally just don't enjoy talking to people as an activity in itself, or if it is because I am failing at it. It's difficult for me to make it to any meet ups because of work so other games are a far more efficient use of my limited time. I like making avatars and I've spend a lot of time and money, so it's not the obvious choice to just quit that it might seem.

You need to remove some of the weight from the top of the leg, so it would look yellow at the top of the leg, and red-ish for most of it (but try not to go too far into the other bone’s area because you want each bone to control that area of the model.

i think its more comfortable in that you can slip it on and off a lot quicker but i had to spend a long time adjusting the top strap to get it perfect so it wasnt squeezing against my face too hard. i think the built in speakers are an improvement over the default vive das ones but they're not amazing or anything. i use them to play beat saber songs all the time fine though and was never distracted with the audio quality

Whenever I manually atlas my model the textures get darker than they normally would be in unity. I set the shadow down in materials and body and get the color thing to they lightest and it's still too dark. How do I make them appear like they normally should?

Why don't wrapped UVs work properly with textures? I thought it would be best left as the default triangle because I was using a solid color, but it doesn't cover it properly on the model, showing the edges as white when zooming out, despite every edge of the triangle being completely covered on the texture. If unwrapped and shrunk to tiny size, then covered with a square of color it works.

Our first match is next Friday, June 1st, at 4:30pm EST (3:30pm CST, 2:30pm MST, and 1:30pm PST for brainlets who can't into conversion). Considering those times are kind of shitty and the majority of people are going to be at work, I'll talk to our resident movie theater man about setting up a stream that night to watch the game, although being able to already know the results of the game is kinda shitty and takes away from the viewing experience, hopefully no one will spoil the outcome who watches it while it's live.

With the increasing amount that this question is asked I'm starting to think we should put something in the OP. The answer should be rather fucking obvious though, there are no VR games that you can even talk about for one entire thread, let alone sustain a general. Give screenshots so we have more info to work with. Until then forgive me, for the sake of troubleshooting I'm going to assume you're an absolute retard and work from there. In Blender, make sure you're activiating the shapekeys attached to the blush and tears to get them to show up on the face. If they're transparent and you can see through them and the model don't worry, its Blender being Blender and not a problem. If they're grey or black don't worry, its Blender being Blender and probably not a problem. If you don't see them at all and you have your model separated as multiple meshes, make sure the meshes for your blush and tears are active.
In Unity, play around with different shaders and settings, for example if you use Cubed's flat lit toon with a shit ton of cutout you probably won't see much in the way of your blush or tears. My best advice is to stop being a brainlet and git gud.

Yes, it just takes some planning ahead of time. Most easily used to negate or override a value with a 0 value.

For example, my party horn uses 2 gestures. Handgun, which makes the horn appear in my mouth, and Fist, which blows the horn, making it extend and play the sound. However, Fist when being used for non-horn purposes opens my mouth and sticks my tongue out. So, on my Handgun gesture I input 0 values for mouth opening and tonguing.
If I do Handgun on left and Fist on right, I blow the horn but I also hang my mouth open which looks silly. If I do Handgun on right and Fist on left, I blow the horn but the 0 values on Handgun on the right hand override the mouth opening on Fist, so my mouth stays closed as intended.

Another one I did very recently was with a new particle emitter that I added to my avatar. I have a Wink gesture that activates a little heart particle near my face. I added a new emitter that makes a heart shoot forward out of my face so that I can blow kisses at you homos. I set it up to be a combo gesture so that I have to combine Wink and Blush to use it, but I don't want the normal wink heart to go off at the same time, just one or the other. So on Blush I add a property to disable the particle that normally gets enabled via Wink.
The result is that when I wink normally with either hand the little heart pops up beside my face, but when I use a combo of Blush on right and Wink on left, that particle does not show up and I instead fire a heart straight ahead.

Because of how it works you do have to end up memorizing how to do specific combos but it can be quite worth it in my opinion. My examples are probably a bit complex, you could probably do something simpler like an open mouth smile on left and some gesture on right that closes your mouth for 2 styles of smiling.

Wrong texture for the UVmap. You probably didn't delete the original in blender and rename the one you made through atlasing as 'UVMap'.

Other than atlas those materials shouldn't be importing. You did something wrong in blender. Delete all materials in blender and create one for atlas(or 2 if you gonna use 2 shaders). Also check to delete the old UVMap
