This is pretty embarassing, but can anyone spoonfeed this brainlet on how to edit textures? I want to make a cheerleader avatar to support our soccerfags and put VIVE/OCULUS on it, but I have no idea how. I've done frankensteins and material switches before and animation states etc but I have no clu eon how to do this.

Depending on what you actually want to change, it's as easy as opening the texture.png in your favorite image editor and doing whatever to it, then saving the edited image into unity/blender. Or maybe printing the texture out, coloring on it in crayon and scanning back in. I dunno.

Vive's wands are definitely easier to build a stock for to balance your aim given their size. Hands too shaky to just freehand aim reliably in Pavlov, and there's not really anywhere on a Touch to build from without making it super awkward to hold.

Wouldn't be durable enough without risking of bending the plastic inside if I were to accidentally bend the stock. On that note, fuck the trigger quality on the Oculus Touch. Had to open one up to fix that rubber piece falling out of place, and now my middle-finger trigger on my left controller gets stuck the odd press. The issue where anything you picked up would rotate randomly, and then place like such. It made organizing your hands impossible since every card picked up would be rotated at its own angle and then again when placed.

At least I have reason to actually believe no-one actually cares I exist. Many will totally ignore me, even to the extent where I can block their entire view and shout, but they'll just move aside without even reacting. It's not block avatars by default because even those I added as friends before do it. you can use an animation to set the volume of the sound source to 0, which will effectively mute the source while still allowing it to play so it doesn't get completely fucked upon toggling
