Soundwhore as best as you can. Use tablet whenever possible to avoid team killing. Which brings me to another point. Don't explode like a motherfucker when someone TKs you, shit happens. I have been playing this game for just now over 100 hours and I still shoot everything that's at a longer distance since sometimes players are just shy of being blips and colors get a little indistinguishable. It happens. Quite literally nobody is perfect and sometimes that split nanosecond of a hesitation will get you killed which means your teammates have to fight with one person alive. The same can be said if you teamkill, just apologize afterwards and hope they heard it. Also, when you DO teamkill, before you rush in with your syringe, immediately take out your tablet and check if they have a cross. If they aren't a red cross, they're deader than a dodo bird.

Footsteps are loud, so when you point your gun up you can sorta walk. Armor and AP mean the difference of dying and surviving in a firefight, armor gives you a extra dink when hit, and AP does damage through armor. AP does, however, have only 2 mags on PvP. But you can pick up other gun's magazines which some are cross-compatible. You shouldn't be firing off your gun like a AA gun anyway, it's best to conserve if you can. If you use the other ammotype, you won't have this proble, You don't even need all that ammo to kill a whole team. anyway.

Speaking of ammo, when you spent half a round, you can swap it out for fresh one, and the half spent one is moved to the back of your reserves. You don't need to reload either as long as there's a bullet still in the chamber. Useful if you're in the heat of a firefight and you might hear that dreaded click.

NVG is invaluable on dark maps, and honestly I like to use it even on day maps, so you might be be pressed for points having all 3(armor, AP, and NVG) on certain guns. Find a gun you like and use it. Grenades are mainly useless, and are inexplicitly situational. Handguns are not worth wasting a point on. Suppressors are literally a meme. Other players, enemy and friendly, can see your red laser sights with NVG so it's a dead giveaway if you use it outside of meme instances. Flashlight is a really big "please fucking shoot me" but otherwise is capable of blinding people.

Aiming wise, and I'm on Rift, I like to put my IRL grip and in front of my IRL dominant trigger hand, and put my IRL trigger hand to my chin, for steadier aim. Seems like it's been doing me good as of late. While on the subject of sights, I really like MARSOCK's dot sights and hated Volk's for the longest time. On the other hand, ironsights are hit or miss but most of Volk's are alright. But i'd taking a liking to using dot sights for both now, on most guns. Otherwise I use iron sights. 4x and 12x are still kinda iffy for me.

One last thing. When you're down, but not dead, you can still communicate with your team. Simply reach down to your conviently colored radio and hollar at your team to communicate whatever it is that you need to rely. Useful for informing teammates where a enemy might be.

-PUSH, PULL-
- Uses the "push, pull" mechanic from Way of the Samurai games for guard and attacking
-When hitting a guard, both combatants can choose push or pull or to remain neutral.
- Attacker pushing on a neutral guard forces the guard to break
- Attacker pushing on a pushing guard overpowers the guard

- Attacker pushing on a pulling guard loses his balance and makes him unable to block for a short period of time
- Attack pulling on a neutral guard leaves him open
-Attacker pullling on a pushing guard makes the guard lose his balance and unable to block
- Attacker pulling on a pulling guard results in both unable to guard.

-Neutral = Defender can push back, remain neutral, or open himself up if he's pulling

- Defending pushing on a pushing attacker loses
- Defender pulling on a pushing attacker makes the attacker lose balance
- Defender pushing on a neutral attacker makes the attacker lose balance

Side stance enemies attack quickly and unpredictably. Lack mobility and stay still a lot letting you walk around them. Almost always neutral.

Collect swords with randomized stats and movesets, improve on them for in-game yen to make the ultimate sword. However, if you die, you lose all equipped swords.

A wandering ronin stumbles into a town fought over by two (actually four) factions. Hilarity and drama ensues.
